At the end of the day some of these stupid ass mistakes and the listlessness to start games have to fall on the coaches, especially when they continue throughout the entire game all the way down to literally the final play.

I did watch, and again, were guys running open that he was missing? Catching the balls that hit their hands? I mean I know looking at stats is nice, but you need to actually have opportunities as a QB. When everything around you looks like shit, most QBs will look bad statistically.

You want to know why Garappolo had open guys? Because they could run the fucking ball.

I very strongly believe that.

I don't believe for a second the running game is as bad as it's looked for the past 2 months.

Something is broken there. They just aren't creating enough holes and it came out of nowhere.

I don't believe it's Zeke and I don't believe it's the line.

Whatever it is, they have to get it fixed one way or the other in the off-season. That is on the coaching staff.

I agree but I also think you're being too kind to Zeke. Outside of blitz pickup there is nothing he does particularly well anymore. He leaves way too many yards on the field. But I agree with the run game design being shit as well.

I'll give you the INT but remember how that was set up. He had a first down pass to Schultz called back for penalty making it first and 15. Then awful pass blocking, sack and 2nd and 28. Then he threw the pick on a play where his receiver couldn't beat single coverage.

We would have had way more time than that if Gregory didn't committed that penalty.

But I agree, our real shot was on the previous drive and we fucked ourselves on that one. Ceedee with the critical drop. That third down shitplay. The sack on first down.

And the sad part is we still had a shot on that fourth down play but the pass blocking sucked, impacted the pass and the receiver couldn't adjust and make the tough catch that ultimately hit his hands.
