Rewatching to pass the time until the MNF game.

Connor Williams was behaving unprofessionally in response to the referee bullshit. He will continue to be a target now simply because he has proven he cannot take his unfair penalty and STFU.

Parsons looked off. I dunno if he was turned off by not being the focal point and catalyst, but he just looked disinterested at times. He got soundly whipped in one on one pass coverage against fellow rookie Rhamondre Stevenson. Not sure how much he dropped in comparison to the other games, but it seemed like a lot more.

Oh yeah, we got buttfucked by the refs when they called Tyron Smith for illegal hands to the face. Meanwhile the Patriot DL hits Prescott square in the head. I will tell you this, the last time a Cowboys QB ever got the benefit of ref protection was well...damn near never.

Yeah it’s almost like Parsons wasn’t even on the field. No splash plays that I remember either.

I’d love to see the next commissioner be open to expanding replay, especially calls that are crucial to a games outcome. Shit like PI, holding, hands to the face, etc. It could be done without adding time, or much time, to the length of a game.
The refs are getting worse by the year, and what’s left of the games integrity is going down the shitter. I don’t care who’s playing, the game should be called equally and fairly. It’s how the game is supposed to be.

The Commish does not even have to be involved.

The Competition Committee can make any of the things you describe happen.

Man, you could tell Gregory was pissed off in this game.

The play before he almost split Jones in half, he jumped at the snap, let out a damn roar and Ferentz had no choice but to grab him.

I also heard his interview on Sirius on the commute home.

I am now definitely not so secretly rooting for him.

iirc it was Tex Schramm who initiated the move toward instant replay on the competition committee years after the Cowboys getting screwed over by the Benny Barnes/Lynn Swann PI debacle?

When a ref goes under the hood, I feel like he’s trying to justify the call on the field.

Instead of saying “let’s get this right.”, they’re really saying “Can I justify what I thought I saw in real time?”.

It’s not a good system.

It should be made by someone upstairs. I think it would be quicker and more objective.

I realize that, but Goodell has been against many of the things that would actually improve the game, and his minions in ownership and the committee have always followed his lead.

The Sky Judge concept has been voted down multiple times.

I don't understand why when this is the bullshit we're getting.

Might be the Ravens.
Forgot about them, although I feel that this team could be the best one night and then be the worst of the four the next night

when it comes to winning a super bowl, worst of these four to string together three or four straight wins
