The Bobcats aren't as much of a train-wreck as I expected them to be but they clearly lack good talent. They've got a bunch of guys who would be nice role players.

I like the kid from Duke, Josh McRoberts. He's got a nice 3 point stroke. He'd fit in well in OKC.

Another thing about watching random games, you see players that you'd completely forgot about.

Raise your hand if you knew Elton Brand was still in the league and playing for Atlanta.

The only reason I know that is because it was reported that he would not be coming back to the Mavs and they mentioned where he went.

Bulls dispatch the Cavs without too much trouble, like everyone who stepped onto the court got double figures for the Bulls tonite.

But Rose, Butler, and Deng, their starting back court and SF, combined to go 15-46.

Kee-rist.

You gotta shoot better than that.

Pacers improve to 8-0, and Derrick Rose suffers a minor hamstring injury.

Neither surprises me.

The Pacers could conceivably run the table in November. The odds are against them doing so but they should win the rest of their games this month.

Once the calendar flips to December, game on.

They have a 5 game west coast road trip with games against the Clippers, Spurs, and Thunder thrown in there.

Then immediately following that road trip they have a home game against the Heat.

Oh, BTW, they play the Spurs, Thunder, and Heat in consecutive games. Talk about a brutal week of basketball.

Yikes.....what a stretch.

I think December will tell us just how good they really are. 8-0 is impressive, but as I said earlier in the thread, they weren't exactly beating the best teams in the league.

Rockets at Sixers right now in a close one.

It's only 2 games so you don't want to go too far, but Jeremy Lin seems to be experiencing a bit of a resurgence to his Knick days.

The Rockets had to go to double OT to beat the Raptors, and they did so behind his 31 points.

The leading scorer so far through tonight's game? Lin with 25 and we're barely halfway through the 3rd.

Lin might be scoring, but I see that he still has an issue with turnovers.

I didn't watch the game but judging by the box score it appears that he camped out behind the 3 point line on offense.

The shots were falling tonight but generally he's a shaky 3 point shooter.

The Rockets turned the ball over way too much in the 4th with Lin being the biggest culprit.

That is what allowed the Sixers to even it up.

Dwight Howard missed way too many shots and was very poor finishing near the basket.

A little scuffle in the OKC/Clippers game.

That looked like a clean block by Ibaka to me.

Why is Ibaka ejected? Just because he got aggressive with getting Griffin off of him?

Barnes I can see because he shoved Ibaka pretty hard when he didn't even need to be involved in that.

Brooklyn getting blown out at Sacramento.

Is it too early to say they suck?

So was Harden really hurt that bad last night he couldn't go or did McHale sit him against the "lowly" Sixers to give a couple extra days? Sixers are scrappy. One thingbeing ooverlooked is I think we found one hell of a coach.

And I'm still not worried about the tank. We've played 7 of our first 9 at home, Hawes will not continue to play like this or he'll get hurt, and like last night James Anderson will not score 36 points every night and Tony Wroten will not get a triple double every night. But what a steal that was getting Wroten for pretty much nothing.

Oh, and the Jazz get their first win against the Pelicans. If we get anywhere between #6 and #10 with the Pelicans pick I will be thrilled. I just didn't think the Pelicans pick would be better than ours, ha. Hopefully, it won't.

Hinkie has already found a knack for getting guys that didn't succeed or have the chance to succeed elsewhere who will contribute. Then the MCW pick. Guy and his scouts have an eye for talent.

That was the weakest reason for ejection that I've seen in a long. I don't think either player did anything worthy of being tossed.

They pushed each other....big deal. T them both up then move on. That's what happens 99.9% of the time. I'd really like to find out the reason why that "scuffle" deserved an ejection, especially since neither player threw a punch.

As for the game itself, I'm going to put an asterisk next to this loss. The Thunder were cruising until Ibaka got ejected. But once he got booted that put us down two big men who we rely heavily on (Perkins DNP due to death in family). So they had to play scrub Ryan Gomes and he immediately picks up 4 fouls in 6 minutes. :picard

Even JVG commented on the effect of the ejection. He said something to the effect of, Ibaka was 6-6 for 13 points and 2 rbs. Barnes was 0-5 for 0 pts. The Clippers will take that trade off any day of the week.

So yeah, this game gets an asterisk because of the garbage ejection.

On a side note, Barnes will likely get fined for a tweet he made after his ejection. He's deleted it since, but it stayed up for about an hour or so. It was: "I love my teammates like family buy I'm done fighting for this ni**as. All that shit does is cost me money."

Yeah, I think he'll be hearing from the league.

I'm pretty sure that comment was aimed at Blake Griffin. Remember he's the one with the rep for being soft and not standing up for himself.
