Ahem. Are you going to tell me that it is their fault?
Well the OL sucked, the WRs were terrible, and the backs didn't do much, but that may stem from the OL.

Also the defense couldn't get off the field in the first half and that definitely contributed to the offense not being able to get into a rhythm.

Really missing Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome, as they went pro, but also the injured Khafre Brown and Beau Corrales, as those two guys should be their top 2 receivers with sophomore Josh Downs as their third WR. Instead he was their first option and walk-on caliber scrubs like Justin Olsen was left getting the ball pulled out of his hands for a back breaking interception while driving.

The DL is also talented but young as shit and the upper classmen are the upperclassmen left from the Fedora era that weren't good enough to go pro. Long story short the team may not be ready to be ranked so highly yet.

Not sure why the OL was so terrible, except it was also missing it's center, but the other four starters were in place.

Freakin Deuce missed his glory days here. He put in all the hard work to reap the rewards in this thread and then quit before his miracle came.

I can tell you that he's very happy about this.

Even happier that USF is still stuck in CUSA.

Tell him now the Big12 can lay claim to another National Championship.

Even if it is a pretend one. :art

Alabama is playing my alma mater Mercer and its 8 year-old football program.

Only 21-0 after a quarter.

Glad to see they did. Getting tired of Ohio State.
No more tired than we are of Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia….

maybe not fair to include Georgia but they get the publicity all year until they get the second loss to Alabama or whatever.

Georgia looks elite until they play a good team usually.
