Well the OL sucked, the WRs were terrible, and the backs didn't do much, but that may stem from the OL.
Also the defense couldn't get off the field in the first half and that definitely contributed to the offense not being able to get into a rhythm.
Really missing Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome, as they went pro, but also the injured Khafre Brown and Beau Corrales, as those two guys should be their top 2 receivers with sophomore Josh Downs as their third WR. Instead he was their first option and walk-on caliber scrubs like Justin Olsen was left getting the ball pulled out of his hands for a back breaking interception while driving.
The DL is also talented but young as shit and the upper classmen are the upperclassmen left from the Fedora era that weren't good enough to go pro. Long story short the team may not be ready to be ranked so highly yet.
Not sure why the OL was so terrible, except it was also missing it's center, but the other four starters were in place.
