I could be wrong, but I don’t trust Scott. I feel like he’s like 2 seconds from taking off his Republican shirt to reveal a Democrat shirt.
I think you're wrong but I've seen enough RINOs to never rule it out

Paul Ryan was putting his name out there through friends in the media to see what it would stir up.

Thank God it stirred up fucking nothing.

@skidadl, your argument against Trump is the same dumb argument you had against Leach. "He should have just apologized" is what you said Leach should have done.

Fuck that then, and fuck that now.

Trump shouldn't apologize for running an honest campaign. He either would win on his platform or not.

Now, let's let DeSantis take the reigns.

Who in the Democrat Party is DeSantis level ready?
Thankfully, no one. California wanted to prop up the lying, snake oil selling, drug abusing, intern fucking Gavin Newsom, but he was exposed for being a piece of shit; and New York wanted to push Cuomo, but he turned out to be the Democrat’s version of Trump with respect to the abusive personality and sexual assault allegations.

That's actually a good point. Leach - gone and Tech sucks. Trump - gone and now America sucks. I see your history of being willing to hurt the whole on the principal of being so-called right has not changed. Congrats on the big wins for team Cotton.

Congrats on your lowered principles. I refuse to compromise mine.

Wasn't Trump supposed to at least quasi announce he's running in 2024 at some rally in Alabama today? Maybe he didn't actually do that?

I'm on record as hoping like hell he doesn't run and lets DeSantis take the torch.

But I hope plan9 realizes the media will go all out to paint him as a bigger POS than Trump ever was, regardless of how false that may be. The people who barely pay attention will buy it just like they did with Trump.

So, you're in the "Trump got voted out because of mean tweets" crowd. I don't agree.
Trump absolutely gave the Democrats the rope to hang himself with.

He was going to be re-elected in a landslide before Covid. When that happened he needed to dial back the crazy asshole vibes a bit and he was unable. His first debate performance was atrocious and May have cost him the election there alone. His handling of Covid was not good either …. Not in terms of policy and action, but he needed to be reassuring and soothing. He didn’t know how to do that and it probably cost him the election.

That being said as pathetic as Biden is we may be better off. Biden is not gonna get any harmful legislation like Obamacare done, he’s gonna leave the country as a train wreck in terms of its agencies and domestic relations, people mad at each other and angry, the economy all fucked up.

Trump on the other hand got a lot done actually first first four years. The table may be set for 8 years of a non-Trump Republican after Biden.

So he didn't do all that he said he would? Got it.

The point is, stop treating him like he's a god.
Trump was by all accounts way better than anyone had a right to expect, so there’s that. Some of Iamtdg’s anger on this probably stems from the fact that no one likes to give Trump any credit but he was actually one of the more productive Presidents of our lifetime, and in only 4 years. He got way more done than Obama did in 8 years.

But yeah he also had some big failures that will cling to his legacy and of course the media and the textbooks will never tell the truth about him.

But all Presidents fail to deliver on parts of their agendas, it is just not possible to get everything for any President. I mean, consider the mandate Obama had to work with, and now look at the pathetic shell that is remaining of his piece of shit signature legislation.

The media does whatever it takes to make every Republican look like hot garbage while painting every Democrat as some saint sent by the grace of God. Unless it’s outlets Fox News, Newsmax, and OAN, where it’s the exact opposite.

We can only be so lucky. It would be nice to have a real fiscal conservative in office.
