They thought Kinch could pass as a German?
I wonder if that was a later one... seems like I remember on most of their operations they left him back in the barracks.

he joined them in the field a lot, but wearing black clothes or other types of camo gear. trying to pass him off as a member of the Gestapo was just ridiculous.

Speaking of Hogan's Heroes, anyone remember the Batman TV show episode that Klink was in? One of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen on TV. I'm sure it was supposed to be a joke, but it made zero sense.

Hilarious. Just saw that very scene during our re-binge. Epic, awesome TV totally on another level.

We’re now in season 7, where the writing develops some holes. Even still it crushes 98% of other TV. Even the horribly rushed season 8 crushes 90% of regular TV.

Yeah, that last season was fucking awful.
It pissed me off to the point I can't bring myself to watch it over...which is unusual. Still a good show overall but that last season was crap.

It was a bad ending but I have to agree with Ravi. Its still better than most of the crap on TV. Thats how bad the programming is.

Yeah the really difficult part is that the show prior to the last season was one of the most well done shows ever. I don't think there is a show in my lifetime I had ever been that excited to watch every week. So for the final season to have been rushed and done poorly like that just makes it feel even worse than it was. You have a cash cow. Why rush to the end. That final season should have taken place over way more episodes. But for some reason they were hell bent on getting the thing over with.

Most folks can’t disconnect from the prior body of work and objectively evaluate the last season. They just react emotionally and vent on social media and then that takes on new life by itself

But for some reason they were hell bent on getting the thing over with.
The writers wanted to move to Star Wars. Then Star Wars fired them anywaybased on all the GOT backlash.

I get that but that's dumb too. You have one the actively most iconic things going on in TV/Movies and you trash it in hopes of a chance at Star Wars. Which honestly Star Wars has been disappointing people ever since the originals.
