Overall, you have to admit Oliver Stone nailed that movie. Some of his other shit was not so good.

But that was pretty much as close to a four star all around movie.

Actors, plot, screenplay and soundtrack.

Got to have all of those for a great movie.

I know that people always compare Platoon to Full Metal Jacket. And for that, I always felt Platoon didn't receive as much respect as it should have. I have that in my list of all time movies. Greatness all around. Actors, story, music. Everything.

Correct. I liked The Goonies. I did. But I wouldn't put it up on a pedestal like a lot of others do when talking 80s movies.

Now Raising Arizona? Yep. That MFer is in the vault alongside other national treasures.
