This is ridiculous. How do you justify your competence as an OC at this level when these are your results?

I asked a similar question about Jason Garrett in 2015 when it became apparent that he was absolutely worthless without Tony Romo. Well now it looks like Kellen Moore is worthless without Dak Prescott.

I honestly don't see how Jerry and Mike McCarthy can look at what's transpired the last few weeks and still bring Kellen Moore back next season.
Well you had an experienced, familiar QB whose last game played started Zack Martin against the offensively retarded Giants.

The next game Andy Dalton came in and not only was there no Tyron but Zack Martin only lasted a couple of plays before leaving against a top ten defense (by efficiency) in the Cardinals. So you had four brand new backups, one of whom didn't even practice with the previous week's "starters". In about two seconds the defense was pinning its ears back against no running game to be had thanks to Zeke's fumbles. What did we expect?

The next week you faced these same four backups (and one honestly marginal starter) against arguably the best defensive line talent in the conference and again we expected, what, that Dalton was going to ball out?

Instead he got KNOCKED out and our gutless players were just staring into space watching him get cheap-shotted.

The following week you (woohoo!) get future HOFer Zack Martin back, but you downgrade the QB for one who's not even qualified to be a journeyman. Once more, what result did we actually expect there?

The next four weeks are the same, except we face three of the NFL's best defenses in Pitt, Bal, as Washington again. Tell me what OC is going to make a difference?

If anything, they had better prepare the trainers for more injuries

Eric Bieniemy
Joe Brady
Kyle Shannahan
Pete Carmichael

To name a few.

I think any one of them as well as quite a few of the other OCs would be able to at least scratch together a couple of TDs per week....even under those conditions.

The 49ers are missing a lot of their regular starters as well. Yet they somehow found a way to remain competitive.

I wonder what their secret is.

Perhaps quality coaching?

With the OL we fielded missing Martin these guys would have had no chance.

Especially in the Washington game. That's a legit top defense.

At least we get Martin back, but with a QB who makes Andy Dalton look like a HOF'er absolutely no OC would have a chance here, especially with our historically bad defense.

If we could actually stop someone, then maybe we can rely on our running attack to keep us in it, but that should end after the first few possessions.

No OC can help this disastrous personnel.

Probably an O-line and a coach who knows how to run the ball really well? I mean if Kyle Shanahan wants to come and run my offense I'm game for that. Their QB play has been awful. And oh by the way they are only 4-4 so I'm not even sure what the point is? So you want someone who would win 4 games with a backup QB as opposed to 2? I'm more concerned about what we can do with a healthy Dak because that's far more meaningful.

I wouldn't want Dak playing behind this OL anyway. He would get beat up, and for what?

Garrapolo didn't look very good when he was on the field. I really do love the way Shanahan designs run plays though. And he uses those run plays to create really easy throwing opportunities. It's a QB friendly system in my opinion.

Dalton in COVID-19 protocol.

Good. I want Nooch to get as much experience as possible to see if there is anything there that's worth trying to develop. And it helps us keep piling up the losses.

Apparently we would rather give the experience to Gilbert

No. I am sitting in the parking lot waiting for my wife to come out of the doctor's office and my thumbs and fingers are larger than logs I can't hit my little tiny keyboard with it.
Whew. Thought you were stroking out on us.

Jerry Jones was pretty hard on the Nooch today.

But I fail to see how they go...Garrett Gilbert? Now there is an option for the future.

I guess they aren't giving up and think his XFL experience will be the X Factor.

Patently retarded to play either Gilbert or Rush. We already know they suck and have no future. At least we have the unknown with Nooch, however slim his chance at being a viable player some day may be. At least it's trying to see if there might be something there.
