Almost all of them are nowadays. The glory days of sitcoms have been dead for a while unfortunately.
Truth. Everybody is scared to make fun of anybody for fear of offending the wrong group and getting burned at the stake. And pretty much every comedy has to have a central character that is either gay, tranny, or whatever to appease the torch carriers.

I miss the days of All in the Family and The Jeffersons. Oh, and Sanford and Son. Great racist content without all the asshurt.
Two of my favorites. Especially the Jeffersons. My little sister and I used to watch that in syndication when we were kids and laugh so freaking hard. Still one of the best comedies of all time.

Just finished watching a documentary called Outcry on Prime.

It is about a Texas HS football player accused of molesting children. Five episodes, crisply done and interesting.

Just fell backwards on posts from seven years ago.

We really wasted a lot of time on the fuckin' Walking Dead.

I remember Carp trying to decode the shit on the hatch door. Damn, I bet Abrams had a good laugh at that one.
That show scarred me to watching long-term shows.

I stopped watching a few years ago then ended up watching the two seasons that I missed when the stay at home orders were in place back in March/April.

The last time I watched it was when they brought in the Whisperers. I got bored real fucking quick.

Thing is, it really was not a long term show. In retrospect, you could tell they were making the shit up as they went along. But damned if the whole Dharma thing and all that had everyone wondering.

Then it ended like they had no plan, which was the case.

My wife has been binging Rectify and I have been roped back in.

Not bad. Got me over the hump I experienced before.

Maybe she needs to watch The Wire to get me into it.
