I'm here to only speak on my thoughts of my team's long history of match-ups with the Cowboys. I became a Vikings fan way back in the mid 70's when these two teams were dominating the NFC. My thoughts on this rivalry started way back in the 1975 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP playoffs, best known now as "The Hail Mary" play. After that devastating loss to the Cowboys, the Vikings faced your Cowboys several times more in playoff games and many times in the regular season. I have most of those match-ups on dvd. I have been watching some of those historic games recently and enjoy this rivalry no matter who won those games.

Hail Mary was in the Divisional Playoffs round. Cowboys played the Rams in the Championship Game.

I'm curious to know your thoughts on your former DC George Edwards who recently joined the Cowboys coaching staff?

I did some historic research, and looked up the all-time match ups between the Vikings & Cowboys. Starting in 1961 to 2019, they played 30 times, remarkable they both have a 15 - 15 record. 7 playoff games, 4 games won by the Cowboys. Need to look up how many times they met on MNF.

So would you say you're sort of the Unofficial Vikings Historian?

I dont know do we really have a rivalry with the Vikings? i can respect them, for what they have done, but a rivalry? not so much. at least in my opinion.

Giants
Redskins
Eagles
Niners
Packers
Steelers

I gotta tell you people.

When I think of our primary rivals, I think Minnesota Vikings.
Not only are the Green Bay Packers kicking the Vikings’ ass in that rivalry, the Packers are better rivals to the Cowboys than the Vikings are.
