Anòther bummer. I had hoped we would have interest. Now I say give Wilson his chance at the job.
I'm hoping we plan on giving him a real shot now with Linquist on staff

I would have easily done that and spared myself Brown and other rando.

And if not I don't know maybe use the money on a Snacks or Robinson.
We will just keep it and be reminded how much under the cap we are next year.

Kind of shocked that the only ex-Cowboy they got was Fleming.

Yeah I can definitely see that. The problem is if everyone goes into the draft with that thought process than the WRs are going to still go often and early. Maybe it will push some DTs or Safety's down as a result.

Clowney badly overrated his market. He thought he deserved Lawrence type money but sack numbers speak. And the dude just isn't a high level pass rusher no matter how bad he wants to be. You're not going to get 20 mil to produce 6 sacks every year. With an injury history too.

I'm guessing he gets stuck with a one year deal that pays him well hoping he can hit some sacks and cash in next year.

I'm betting he goes crawling back to Seattle for that 1 year deal to try to rebuild his market. I'm just glad he's not stealing money in Dallas.

We are in an almost no-lose situation at 17. It's definitely a sweet spot in this draft for sure.
