Wow! That's a shitload of money for a career disappointment cornerback!
:wtf
Yeah the dude has been a borderline bust his whole career up to this point. I thought about us signing him as sort of a bargain that maybe we could get that potential out of. Instead he got paid like a high end corner.

Sometimes I really wonder what these teams are thinking in free agency. It's like I can literally point out the guys who will be free agents again in a couple years the second they are signed. And it's why so many of these guys are cut a couple years into their contracts.

Yep. It's like money burning a hole in their pockets and they just have to spend it on 'somebody'. Some of these moves look like they threw darts at the wall.

I wonder if we have interest in Trufant at cornerback?

I'd be good with Trufant. Hell I could go through a list of D-lineman and corner that I'd still love in free agency. Those are specifically the two things I think we need to address. But I hate to get my hopes up only to see Dallas sign a bunch of Darrian Thompson level players.

That is exactly what you will get.

Our long national nightmare is over.

Tom Brady has chosen his team.

Everyone seems to be talking about where Brady will go, but I'm more interested in what Belichick will do at qb. That's going to be a fascinating story IMO. I'd love to see him keep rolling without Brady.

What? Fuck that. I want to see them go 0-16. I hope wherever Brady goes, he gets sacked 60 times.

Well, the Patriots won't skip a beat and the Bucs win the NFC South easily. How does that sound?

DFDC but I don't believe that for a second. The Pats might make the playoffs with that defense but they won't win anything there.

And frankly I'm not sure Brady has much left in the tank.

Without weapons? Sure. But he has an utterly obscene group to work with in Tampa.

They are two and three deep with WRs and TEs. I would kill for their group.

Brady is one of the best of all time because he makes the right decisions. He was never a traits guy.

Bitch could play another ten years if he understands the system he plays in and it is tailored for what he does.

The only thing that is a little odd is the downfield style of Arians and how he fits.

I'd love to see both of them crash and burn.
:lol It's funny, I've rooted against the Pats in almost all of their Superbowls (except the first one and the Reid Eagles one) because I get sick of the same team and I usually go for the underdog. But I do admire the job he does, how ruthlessly bottom-line he is, how old-school he is with his players not talking, how he's not afraid of cutting big names, etc. For some reason, the older I get the more I appreciate good coaching over just talented players.

Not me. I only want to see him get sacked once.

And hit so fucking hard he has a pink sock dangling out underneath him as they lift him on to the stretcher.

Arians actually has a qb now who won't throw mutiple ints every game, the Bucs could absolutely do something this year.
