Watching Burrow and that LSU offense carve up a great Clemson defense made me feel a lot better about Oklahoma's beat down.

That LSU offense was just unstoppable and Burrow quite possibly had the greatest single season performance by any QB ever in the history of the sport. No shame in being bitch slapped by a historically great player.

The lack of running overall really shocked me last night. Neither team even made an attempt to play keep away with their workhorse RBs. Clemson especially should have tried to do that. They have the great RB with elite speed and elusiveness and he only had 15 carries on the night. It was only a 1 or 2 possession game for most of the game.

Yeah, I can't remember ever seeing a college QB throw the ball that well. Not just in this game, but all year. So weird that it took this long for his talent to really show itself.

No idea what he will do in the NFL but he looks exceptional so far.

If he goes to a bad team( and he will) the OL had better be able to protect him because the reason he is so effective is the great protection he has had. There were a few times when LSU couldn’t protect him and he was just another QB. On the move from side to side his throws were pretty far off the mark. Moving backward he was average but scrambling forward he was very good with his throws. He will be like a lot of the college QBs as long as he is protected he is fine and he seems to make good decisions.

Things may be pretty challenging for him if he doesn’t get adequate protection. The Clemson press in the second half was weak because they were worn out from first half. That’s when Burrows got the time he needed to make the passing game the superior effort in the game.

Actually I'd say he's underrated athletically. He's no Lamar Jackson of course, but he moves in the pocket and runs when necessary better than you'd expect. IOW, he's not Jared Goff.

He had a ton of pressure in his face from Clemson and did a masterful job. I think his athletic ability is on par with a Dak Prescott type.
