Translation: Williams didn't catch a TD last week so he feels safe.

This is the most important game of the year so far so it'd be nice to see him gut it out and play effectively.
Yep.

If we don't win this sunday we will probably have to beat them on the game of the season, and we all know how we do in those games.

If how Randle played against the Redskins is any indication, we need Murray pretty badly.

I figured they were probably being protective with Austin. But you never know.

DeMarcus Ware: I'm a game-time call

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys starting defensive end DeMarcus Ware said Thursday he's a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a thigh injury.

Ware, who hasn't practiced this week, plans to travel to the game and test his leg. Ware has done some light running while in rehab, including pushing off and doing some cutting.

"It's two times better than what it was," Ware said. "I do have some push. I actually have been running in the weight room. It's feeling pretty good to me personally."

Ware has never missed an NFL game since entering the league as a first-round draft pick in 2005. Ware did suffer a neck injury in a 2009 game against the San Diego Chargers where he was carried off the field.

There was a thought Ware would miss the next game that season at New Orleans but he recovered in time to play, although he didn't start.

"I know that I can get through injuries," Ware said. "You can never sway what [injury] is worse than the other. Each week, like I took with that injury, take that whole week and make a game-day decision."

Sources told ESPN earlier this week that Ware could miss three-to-four weeks, but the defensive end dismissed that timetable for his injury.

"No, I'm not going to be out three or four weeks," he said. "I don't know where that came from. Somebody said it. I know my recovery is pretty fast and I'm feeling pretty good today.

Do what you have to do to get better, but don't come back at 50% like you did at Washington last season.

I'll take Ware at 50% over anything else we got at DE right now.
But...but...Wilber...got better as the game went on last week and stuff.

I'd honestly let Ware dictate it.

If he feels he can go...go.

Even if he was ineffective, I'd have a lot of respect for Ware for trying to gut it out and play in the most important game of this young season.

Desire is something that hasn't been synonymous with this team, so it's nice to see some of that flashing through right now.

Hell, even Murray didn't rule himself completely out.

Jerry Jones: Caution with Ware
Updated: October 18, 2013, 12:49 PM ET
By Tim MacMahon | ESPNDallas.com

IRVING, Texas -- Jerry Jones said the Dallas Cowboys will take a "conservative" approach to the decision on whether defensive end DeMarcus Ware plays Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ware, who left last week's win over the Washington Redskins with a strained quadriceps, has not practiced all week but refuses to rule himself out of Sunday's game. Ware intends to travel with the Cowboys and make a game-day decision on his status.

"Nothing about him physically would surprise me," Jones said Friday on KRLD-FM. "We hope that if we are conservative -- and he'd be the first to tell you if this were the Super Bowl, he'd be playing in it unquestionably, or if this were frankly a key game at the end of the year -- but he and we want to look at the bigger picture, which is the season. So we probably are being and will be conservative there.

"But nothing surprises me. He's Superman."

Ware has never missed a game in his career, playing in 134 consecutive games plus playoffs since being selected in the first round of the 2005 draft. In 2009, he had one of the best performances of his career six days after being taken off the field on a stretcher with a neck injury, recording two sacks and forced fumbles in the Cowboys' road upset of the previously undefeated New Orleans Saints.

Ware said Thursday that his ability to perform and the risk of aggravating his injury will be equal factors in the decision of whether he plays against the Eagles, who are tied with the Cowboys atop the NFC East standings with a 3-3 record. Ware isn't concerned about extending his consecutive games played streak.

"The bigger picture is always more important," Ware said. "You don't want to be remembered as just a number. You want to be remembered as a guy who gets out there and wreaks havoc on the field. If I can do that, I will."
