People bang on baseball for how long their games are, but college football is even worse. Todays 1st half of Auburn-LSU took two hours of real time to play 30 minutes of football.

And it happens in a multitude of games every week.

Why not. Every conference has to determine a champion and the same goes for the SEC. The teams beat up on each other so anyone Is subject to getting a loss on their record.

Because the Big 12 sux that's why. The top teams in that conference would be middle of the pack teams in the SEC.

The Big 10 is also considerably better this year than the Big 12.

Yep, but we all know despite an ugly loss to an unranked team that Oklahoma will be in the playoffs if they win out. It's just how it works. No one really gives a shit about resumes when picking playoff teams. Of course that loss would sink most teams. But if you're a big name program like Oklahoma it won't.

There's no way in hell a 1 loss OU team should get into the CFP ahead of a 1 loss Alabama or LSU team.

I’m just happy that we won’t have to worry about those frauds at Notre Dame getting a sniff at the playoffs this year. Their schedule - like always - is trash, and they lose in embarrassing (read: Michigan-esque) fashion last night.
