They wont let the only power option besides Beltre go. Only way they let him walk is if Cruz chooses not to come back or some team offers a crazy number for him. They are going to offer the 14 mill for one year offer and I believe they have mentioned a longer contract offer as well. I just dont see the Rangers being the one to back down and let him walk.

Supposedly they tried to trade for McCann at the deadline so I wouldnt be surprised if they go that route until the money gets out of their league. Payroll is being reduced a bit this year so they are going to have to get creative for sure.

They do need to decide on the Profar situation this year. He needs a position and I dont know how they are going to do it. He may be traded due to Andrus contract or move Kinsler to the outfield.

Im really looking at Toronto and if they pick up the option on Adam Lind. He absolutely loves to hit in Arlington and has some pop in his bat. I would look at guys like that. They did that with Vlad and it worked out very well for both.

Mets are linked to Choo, but I think it may be time to part with some youth for a productive vet. Wright is damn good...with a little protection hed be better. Davis is not the answer and should be moved too.

Dont get your hopes up because I seriously doubt that Toronto lets him go. I dont know his contract situation but we can always hope that Bautista and Encarnacion want new deals. Need them to need some salary relief.
