They shouldn't be but they clearly were. The defense was sleep walking most of the game. The offense looked like there was no emotion. The Saints game didn't wake them up because it was "close". But I think this team clearly took this one as a kick to the nuts.
We should be proud of them for fighting so hard, and hanging in there till the end.

No, no one should be proud. They shouldn't have been sleep walking in the first place and they should have woken up sooner. But it's at least a sign that this team can wake up from this slump.

I must say, I'm proud of everyone for not imploding the board. That was a tough loss.

mcnuttz's fantasy team went ape shit this week

Just a sample from his roster.

Deshaun Watson: 400+ yards passing & 5 TDs

Amari Cooper: 200+ yards receiving & 1 TD

Aaron Jones: 180+ total yards & 4 TDs

Dalvin Cook: 200+ total yards

Eagles Defense: 10 sacks, 3 turnovers, and 2 TDs.
I haven't won a game the last couple fantasy seasons. Usually miss the draft every year including this one...and I never make roster changes.

This is exactly what I was thinking! Where's the intensity, leadership, and focus? Where was the mental preparation?
Looked to me that after we were down 14-0, we just rolled over. Yes, we made it a game in the second half. But damn I miss the 90's attitude. We may have crapped out one week. But we were on top of it the next game. Jimmy, Irvin, Aikman, and Emmitt wouldn't tolerate anything less.
Do these kind of players and coaches even exist anymore?
The guys who are supposed to be leaders aren't playing well, so not much accountability.

I genuinely thought Lawrence was gonna bring it this year and the defense would follow his passion. Is he butthurt about Taco's departure or something?

that's easy because I'm numb to it all, bailed out at half time, a blind man could see where this was going after the first quarter

Ehhh... most everyone on this board is used to it. Kind of almost expect it to happen. It’s been the MO of this team for many years now and with the current staff and management it doesn’t look like it’s gonna stop anytime soon. I mean, if the idiots can’t see that this team does the same thing every year with different players then it’s got to be a coaching problem but instead they keep ignoring it. Whatever. I will still watch and root for my team while they flap around like a fish out of water EVERY DAMN YEAR!
