Dumb thought by Mosher. If he's paying attention at all, it's clear they like Gifford a lot. Zero chance they waive him. They'll either wait out the injury or IR him.

This is what irks me about Taco and his comments in particular. Taco complains about being asked to play the run and not getting enough pass rush opportunities.

Meanwhile Joe Jackson just immediately goes out and makes plays with the opportunity he gets.

So Jarwin's a bigger receiving threat. Schultz is a much better blocker. Witten is too old and fragile to play on special teams. Is there room for three TEs on the final roster?

Gee, Jason, looks like your odd man out. Three's a crowd. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Except that won't happen, of course. Witten is Garrett's BFF, and Garrett is Jerry's surrogate son.

We always keep at least 3 TEs

Might want to see how Witten does before pronouncing him kaput.

Why didn't Pollard play. And why was Chunn out there most of the game? We need Zeke for the redzone badly.
Is this a serious question?

The first preseason game is almost always mostly for the guys who won't be around past cuts.

Sorry meant to say play more. You've got two rookie backs and Jackson. But you play Chunn a bunch who has a zero percent chance of making the roster. Just seems silly to me.
Your position seems silly to me.

This is what it's come to now.

We are bitching because our scrubs played extensively in the first preseason game.

As if it mattered one god damn that we didn't score a TD.

Bill Parcells used to get fucking shut out in the preseason, didn't he?

WHO CARES?????

Maybe Tony Pollard doesn't need 12 carries in the first preseason game.

I'm going to tap the breaks on calling him a weapon, personally.

Let's say he has shown some promise to become a reliable receiving option at TE, and has successfully transitioned from "UDFA who we shouldn't count on for anything."

I'm not really ready to say he should be more than a backup.

I was always very skeptical of Charlton, and I remember that video the team put out of him arriving at team headquarters on the plane. He just seemed like a dummy even then, and it doesn't seem like he's gotten any smarter.

I'm getting ready to cut losses on the guy. Especially while he retains literally any shine of "former first round pick/reclamation project."

Seriously.

Some people around here are so anti-establishment that they want change just to punish the old timers.

F you Jason Witten.... We'll keep two tight ends in Schultz and Jarwin over you, because Fuck you and your BFF Jason Garrett, that's why.

So transparent.
