We ran the ball efficiently against the Chargers and Broncos too, it's just that we only ran it about 15 times or so in those games.
Either either doesn't trust or doesn't like the running game. It needs to be used complementary to the pass...watch some Patriot tape from last year Jason. You can still run out of a spread formation.

I don't get how they "grade" and it seems high when Romo is running around still. But I do agree that Free has been surprising. Doesn't look like the same guy from last year.
Romo is running around still because it is taking him forever to get the ball off. It's like the only way Romo can operate effectively is when he is running around like a chicken with his head cut off.

I have said this many times, but it appears I must say it again. Romo is much better on the run than standing in the pocket. I wish they would run more designed rollouts and bootlegs.

Apparently, if you cut Free's salary he plays better. So Free needs to play for free.

I agree, it's why I always thought he would look best in a Shanahan type offense filled with lots of bootlegs and play action roll outs.

O-line is better, but the result's just the same.
Because they not only didn't change the defense at all they lost key players in Spencer and Crawford. They counted on Ratliff when they should have released him.
