So the heinous thing is Walt being responsible for Hank's death? Lookit, if he just chose to take a dump someplace else, everything would be just fine.

I sort of hate Walts son...
Yeah, I felt the same way.

He seems to be Walts ultimate downfall. They will find him now and Walt will be forced to eventually try to get all of the money to them at all costs. Which will get Walt killed/arrested.

Dexter finale last night

Feh. I was somewhat rooting for Deb to eventually die but it was so corny with the throwing her on the boat as nobody in the hospital would notice and then just going out to a hurricane to "die" with her only to just abandon his son with another murderer? Ridiculous.

So based on the silence, no one liked BB last night? I thought it was picturesque.

That was a self preservation thing. Walt knew Gale was about to replace him, and that he and Jesse were gonna be snuffed out. Gale had to go. It's not like Walt did it to be spiteful. I think just watching Jane die was much more heinous. Also the poisoning of Brock. It was total manipulation of Jesse and the people he loved.
I don't think those were as bad because

manipulation is bad, but people lie every single day. Ultimately, he did not permanently harm Brock. And Jane was on a path to self destruction, she really did that to herself. He could have saved her, sure, but he didn't KILL her. Gale was self-preservation, true, but it was outright murder of someone who was otherwise pretty much innocent. Not even like murdering the two drug dealers who were about to kill Jesse. Gale was just a bystander who didn't really deserve it. It was cold blooded. I feel that was the worst thing he's done.

Walt can redeem himself in the eyes of the viewers here. Just like Walt was the "good" guy in killing Gus.

He can take down Uncle Jack and Todd, give the money to his family, and die gracefully and take all the blame and spare his wife. Hank's death is on Jack, not Walt.

Loved the episode last night, it was the pinnacle of Walt's decay as he was completely broken and ready to give up.

And then he saw those two pretentious Grey Matter pricks, Heisenberg started to bubble to the surface and the intro song dropped, I was basically popping Molly's with a 10 foot erection at that point.

But they don't know any different than has been reported. Too many people are trying too hard to find some sort of redemptive quality in Walt. It doesn't exist. Don't feel sorry for him. He doesn't deserve it.

I don't feel sorry for him, I just love how the theme of the show is "Chemistry: Growth, Decay, Transformation" and last night you saw the height of the decay with the final transformation to follow.

I agree with some of this, but there is no transformation for Walt. It doesn't matter how he tries to redeem himself, or get his money back. Either way, Walt has been a lost cause for a long time and I don't know how anyone can argue otherwise.

Doesn't have to be a transformation that redeems him, if anything turning himself in would've been somewhat redeeming but his pride got the best of him one last time.

Nothing he does now redeems him. Nothing. Even he, as a character knows that.

I never said anything about him being redeemed so I pretty much agree, nor do I care about redemption in his case.

He can still save his partner, but that's it. I hope he does. The rest like you, I will wait and see.

I don't think Gilligan will try to go that route. It would be romanticizing the drug trade. That good things can come of it. (money for his family) I think Walt is going to go out in a blaze of glory, lose everyone that he holds dear, and his family won't get a single dime. Drugs 'r bad, mmmkay?

Also, if that's the last we see of Saul, it was kind of a buzzkill. He deserved a better exit from the show. Not saying they should have killed him, but something with a little more flair befitting his character.
