I don't know why he didn't mention it to her the first time they met in the diner, but at the little family sitdown last episode I think he knew it wouldn't matter. She's making it obvious she's on Walt's side so no point in spilling any of the info he has on him.
Looks like you were right

The bitch was like, kill that motherfricker

Its good, but not not the best ever. Last season was almost a complete punt, until Hank took a dump. I think its really good overall and everyone is hoping for an amazing finale.

Someone will get killed, so what, there is not much left.

The Wire is better. But I love BB.

One thing though, will anyone watch Saul's jump off show, I won't.

I dont see the spinoff working. I might give it a shot for a few episodes but dont have high hopes. They just dont work. Think Frasier was the only one that did.

The Simpsons was technically a spin off from the Tracy Ullman Show. Melrose Place did decent.

I am like you though. I will watch just to see but I find it tough to figure out how they can keep something so unlike the original viable. The characters will be the same but it has to be more of a comedy.

I agree The Wire was better but this is a close 2nd. If they fumble the finale than The Sopranos come back into the conversation.

I will watch the Saul spinoff though.

I love BB and I love the Wire. I think I'd have to go back and rewatch them both to decide which I liked better.

I did randomly watch a couple of the first episodes of BB a couple of weekends ago and it is pretty amazing where they've taken these characters.

I only just was able to get around to watching the most recent episode of Breaking Bad a few nights ago. I'm going to have to watch it again because I was hammered. But:

When Jack shoots Hank in the face before he can even finish saying "Do what you're gonna d-"... wow, what a scene. Hank's "fuck you" combined with Walt's reaction, it was haunting. It has stuck with me for days, and I can say that's the first scene in a TV show ever that's had that affect on me. Was I just drunk or was it as powerful a scene as I remember?

Anyway, predictions for the rest of the way?

And I'm in the camp that says Breaking Bad is the best show of all time, but I've never see The Wire so I can't compare them. I do plan to watch it eventually.

my prediction is Walt gets away and he gets word that the white supremists have Jesse hostage and are threatening his family so that's why he buys the massive gun. Goes back, kills them to save the day and Jesse ends up killing Walt after due to all the crap he put him through.

I don't think it was just being drunk. That was a powerful episode.

The completely unemotional and distant way he and his partner were just thrown in the ground and buried was more chilling to me. No dramatic music, no sadness, just cold hard detached reality.

The Wire is great, the characters are great, but it can't really compare. I mean on the Wire you lose maybe the MAIN character for an entire season for almost no reason...and it's fine, because there are so many characters for you to care about.

In BB there are only a handful. And you're so invested in them. I've watched both and before BB I thought the Wire was the best show of all time. I don't even think they're in the same ballpark tho. Like it goes, BB is playing chess, everyone else is playing checkers.

I disagree. Breaking Bad is fantastic and right up there with the Wire but that show was just so gritty and realistic that it stays on top for me. BB doesn't come off as super fake or anything, but there were times when you think there stretching it with story lines with how Walt just pulls some chemistry renolution out of his ass like House would medically do weekly.

The Wire isn't available on Netflix...I wish it was. Same for Oz.

Agreed. That was cold. Not to mention the fact it was the hole Walt had dug himself to hide all his money in. Some symbolism there, I think. And speaking of cold... Walt's face and the way he told Jesse about watching Jane die. Holy shit. If Jesse had any thoughts that there was any of Mr. White left, Heisenberg completely squashed that.

You know Lidia is going to get it with the Ricin in her tea. Maybe as an epilogue after Walt is killed.

I remember reading somewhere that in this second half of the season, Walt would do something so horrific that you would hate his guts. I gotta admit, I'm still kinda pulling for him.
