David Molk is another guy I'd have interest in.

:lol @ those people who took him in FF drafts thinking he'd start.
I took him but not to start. Also took Bell in case. It was just extra bench that I can change.

Bell isn't going to make a dent for them for a few weeks. It is Redman again.

The Dwyer cut is pretty surprising.
It is even more surprising they are going with Redman, Stephens-Howling and Felix Jones until Bell gets healthy again.

Saints part ways with Courtney Roby, Jim Leonhard

Posted by Mike Florio on August 31, 2013, 6:06 PM EDT

The Saints have moved to 53 players on the active roster by moving on from a player who first joined the team in 2008.

Receiver Courtney Roby, a special-teams captain, has been cut. Other veterans whose contracts were terminated include defensive end Jay Richardson, cornerback Chris Carr, and safety Jim Leonhard. Center Eric Olsen was placed on Injured Reserve.

Leonard had a successful career with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan’s twin brother, Rex, in Baltimore and with the Jets.

The Saints also waived 17 players, including quarterback Ryan Griffin, receiver Preston Parker, fullback Austin Johnson, receiver Saalim Hakim, guard Elliott Mealer, tight end Keavon Milton, tight end Michael Higgins, guard Andrew Tiller, center Jeremiah Warren, linebacker Ray Shipman, linebacker Rufus Johnson, nose tackle Isaako Aaitui, safety Jerico Nelson, linebacker Baraka Atkins, tackle Marcel Jones, cornerback Korey Lindsey, and cornerback Jumal Rolle.

The list of waived players includes three recent draft picks. Tiller was a sixth-round draft pick in 2012. Johnson was a sixth-round pick in 2013. Jones was a seventh-round pick in 2012.

Bills cut Torrell Troup. He'd add the beef and run stuffing we need up the middle.

There are a lot of quality vets who need jobs.

But since they will want money, just forget about them.

So the Raiders keep 4 QBs and 2 punters? :lol It's like Crazy Al is still running things.

They will need four QBs to have to avoid signing guys in a couple of weeks behind that OL. The two punter thing has to be a trade. Kluwe is good but that Marquette King kid would be snatched up on the waiver wire in a skinny minute. They snuck him on IR last year and will probably create a fake injury soon to do the same thing this year.

Browns dump Kellen Davis

Posted by Mike Florio on September 1, 2013, 11:21 AM EDT

Yes, tight end Kellen Davis made it onto the Browns’ initial 53-man roster. Less than 18 hours later, he’s gone.

Per a league source, Davis has been cut by the Browns.

Davis, dumped earlier this year by the Bears, appeared in 16 games for each of the last five years, starting 15 in 2012 and 15 in 2011.

He appeared in all four preseason games for the Browns, starting in Week Three and Week Four.

A vested veteran, Davis instantly becomes a free agent. He was due to earn a base salary of $715,000, the minimum for a sixth-year player.

We were hot for this turd in FA year before last. There's your fucking sixth TE.

Hell yeah, the '16' offense would rule

If we bring back Coslet, they could all fall down at the same time, then get up and run
