If that is the case then that is dumb...regardless of how they view him you simply cannot play him in that situation. If he is hurt they have Smith, Simms, and McElroy.Meh, fans would rather you lose with the new guy who could learn than lose with the old guy you know couldn't.
The first few possessions were a train wreck. Penalties, sacks, a fumble....all around suckiness. Was the firs half pretty awesome? Stats look good on offense, not as much defensively. Anyone know a download site?
Yeah that was great.Wilcox with a very nice play to separate the receiver from the ball. Very nice.
They will come up with some gay reason not to activate him during the seasonHolloman keeps making plays.
He's even worse than Jenkins so far, which is absolutely hilarious to me for some reason.Webb is a problem. He can't play. It is amazing, but the kid is so soft.
There is zero aggression from him and at times a corner has to do that.
Exactly. But the fact that we are able to overcome the offensive line and still be pretty productive against a good defense doesn't fit Smitty's agenda, so...The line is bad, but they have scored 14 points.
Penalties and continued poor special teams play are my concerns. Otherwise the game was a thumbs up basically. Sure the O-line wasn't perfect but the Bengals weren't exactly getting consistent pressure either. There were times when Romo had all day to throw and it shows in his numbers. Of course there was some confusion when the Bengals were bringing some blitz packages. That's what happens when you only have 2 regular O-line starters in their regular positions. The confusion continued with the run game.Exactly. But the fact that we are able to overcome the offensive line and still be pretty productive against a good defense doesn't fit Smitty's agenda, so...
Fact is, the lack of focus and discipline was by far our biggest problem tonight. Just like it was last week. Just like it was last year.
Cue defensive response and slight of hand comment about the offensive line.
And yet we won and Romo passed for almost 300 yards. Harder to operate? Of course. Impossible? Uh no.I think the worst instance of this that I've seen against this awful line was the Tampa Bay game last year.
Murray got hit 13 times behind the line last year.....thirteen! Romo got sacked like 5 times and got hit a whole bunch more. That makes operating an offense impossible.
