Pfft...Pats don't realize how much better off they'd be if they went more 5wide

One thing is for sure, we need at least two reliable pass rushers this offseason to compete with these guys

Unfortunately that isn't likely to happen. There aren't going to any real quality pass rushers in FA, at least none that wouldn't cost an arm or leg. And we will be drafting 30th so we would be lucky to end up with even one reliable pass rusher. Hopefully we get one in the first but the odds we add another on day 2 or 3 is minimal.

We draft 28th.
OK. I forgot the 2 conference championship game losers got picks 29 and 30. Either way I think we'll be hard pressed to find a couple of reliable pass rushers. But there are a couple I like at 28.

Unlike last week, both teams I wanted to win actually won today. At least Pittsburgh and GB are gone. Small consolation is with the way the Falcons ripped GB it wasn't a foregone conclusion we'd have won if we had made it this far.

The Falcons were using 57 year old Freeney to to help harass Rodgers.

Difference is Quinn actually uses players that fit their scheme whereas Marinelli just kinda hopes everything works out.

If it weren't for their white FB fumbling the ball, the missed FG, their receivers dropping passes and their defensive players botching untold number of turnover opportunities the Packers would've been in the game until the end. Rodgers was ripping them up early on but they pissed 10 points away, then their WR's/TE's/RB's started dropping easy passes and their defense let about 4 possible turnovers slip through their fingers.

Green Bay played out of their minds last week and had nothing left today, especially with all the injuries. The Atlanta defense looked good because Green Bay was screwing themselves offensively and the Atlanta offense built a big lead.

Atlanta's defense is no better than ours, and could easily be worse. There's a reason Green Bay only scored 13 points in the second half against us with Rodgers playing out of his mind, and it's because our dumbass defense took half the game to find their nuts after I'm sure Garrett spent two weeks patting them on their collective asses.

It would've been tough but Atlanta's defense struggles against the run and Green Bay is in no position to exploit that. It would've been close until the end I'm sure and could've gone either way.

I don't think we could've beaten the Patriots though. The Steelers got eaten up when they tried to rush 3 and drop 8 in zones, which is something we've done alot of this year. It would've taken a gargantuan effort from our offense to beat them if we made it to the Super Bowl.

If we gave Marinelli a modicum of talent, perhaps we would stand a chance against a good offense.

All I was to say is, Mason Crosby can kiss my ashy black ass.

He misses a 41 yarder in the 1st quarter yesterday but last week he's out there kicking pressure packed 55 yard FGs like they were mere XPs. GTFOH!

It's astonishing how damn near every kicker turns into Adam Vinatieri when they're kicking against the Cowboys. Anything 60 and in seems like a virtual lock.

Aside from Crosby suddenly sucking, as you pointed out, it was both sickening & amazing watching this same group of Green Bay WRs and RBs fumble the ball away and drop routine passes.

A completely different team showed up to play yesterday vs what the Cowboys saw last week.

Last week those SOBs were making miracle catches/plays left and right. Seemed like they had at least 5 "how the hell did he come up with that catch" plays last weekend. But against Atlanta......they're dropping balls that hit them right between the numbers and aren't making those crazy catches along the sideline.

All I could do was shake my head and laugh.

Agreed. What does he have to work with? I think he's awesome.

The very definition of making chicken salad with chicken shit.

He has Sean Lee and what? A sometimes awesome David Irving?

Overall, had the Cowboys not made the playoffs, Id be satisfied with the Super Bowl matchup. No Packers, Steelers, 49ers or East rival. Yay.
