I agree with a lot of what you say on this but I don't think regulations on drugs coming to market has that much to do with prices.

Why not? The Epipen is a perfect example. Mylan raised the price of a bunch of other generic drugs as well. So why do you think they are able to get away with that? It's not a monopoly, these are generic drugs. Means competitors would be able to compete with those prices if not for regulations preventing it.

Yeah, it's pretty obviously fake news. The new news seems to be to make shit up and as long as it is outlandish enough people will copy and quote it before anyone realizes it's fake.

Fake news isn't sourced. NYT had a source inside the Perry team that they were running the story from.

Republicans keep calling things they don't like fake news.

Fake news is intentional hoaxes made to cause clickbait to be shared by people who want it to be true. They have no sources, because they aren't investigating or reporting.

Rathergate and things like that where a trusted media source, reports something because they trusted a source that shouldn't have is a different thing than pizzagate. Where loons made up a clearly fake story, and sites posted it knowing full well it was fake. This should be obvious.

It's a monopoly because they have no competition and they lobby congress to keep competition to minimum by not allowing price negotiation and outlawing Canadian drugs, the same drugs usually.

The regulations do not prevent the new epi pen its ensures the product is quality.

And that new pen is ready to hit the market.
