Why on the consesus draft experts one did they skip Buckner all together? Bad draft guys!
It's not a mock draft. They didn't have a consensus on Ezekiel Elliot, so he wasn't listed, either. Also, they had Vernon Hargreaves and Josh Doctson listed twice, back to back. And nobody listed for the Seahawks. Eli Apple at 14 and 30. Etc...

Mocks are bouncing around again. For a few weeks it seems the consensus for the Chargers was Ramsey, now I am seeing more mods projecting Bosa to SD. The ones that still have SD taking Ramsey have Dallas taking Bosa. But if Bosa is gone it seems to be all over the place between Ramsey, Jack and Buckner to Dallas.

Bleacher report 7 round draft.

1st Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
2nd Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
3rdXavien Howard, CB, Baylor
4thRonald Blair, DL, Appalachian State
4th(comp)Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State
6th(from OAK) Luther Maddy, DT, Virginia Tech
6th(comp) Glenn Gronkowski, FB/TE, Kansas State
6th(comp)Cre'von LeBlanc, CB, Florida Atlantic
6th(comp)Curt Maggitt, OLB, Tennessee

Dislike the first pick. Of course I'll be unhappy with anyone who isn't a QB. Haven't followed it enough to know how good or bad some of the placement of these are but I'd prefer best QB available at 4 and the 4th round take Ngakoue from Maryland and the safety from BC

Hate Dak Prescott. I wouldn't waste my time with that turd. I don't like no D-lineman until the fourth. On a positive note I think you get 3 long term starters with the 3 first picks. Myles Jack will be a useful tool in the NFL. Henry would look great behind this offensive line and I think X Howard has some ability to become a starting NFL corner.

I certainly agree about Prescott. I have seen dozens of QBs who were just like him. Average college player at best comes to mind.

Yea I mean there is a 0.0000000000% chance Elliott falls to us at 34 so I basically disregard everything as soon as I see that. Only way he's there at 34 is if some La'el Collins shit happens, and maybe not even then.

Ya think? I seriously doubt that Nkemdiche will be there in the 3rd, either. Also, that draft had Cleveland taking Bosa at #2, then getting Goff at the top of the 2nd... After the Broncos selected Cook at the bottom of the 1st.

Fanspeak always has some kind of fucked up glitch. You'll see guys like Elliot and Goff fall a round later than they'll go, while some schlub linebacker that should be a UDFA go in the 2nd.

LOL. There's no way Elliott and Nkemdiche fall to us in the 2nd / 3rd. Would be ecstatic if this actually happened, but it won't.

Dislike the first pick.
That's an understatement.

And if Henry is still available in the 2nd round it's just proof the NFL has become completely stupid when it comes to RB's.

I think he will go late in the first but there is a chance he's still available at 34 because the NFL has become stupid with RB's.

I understand not overvaluing them, but not every RB is washed up after 4-5 years.

JALEN RAMSEY CBFLORIDA ST.

Finding a dynamic quarterback of the defense is a top priority with Dick LeBeau intent on building a dominant defense in Tennessee.

PICK NO.
2
CLE
CARSON WENTZ QBNORTH DAKOTA ST.

The small-school standout is a prototypical dual-threat quarterback with the A-plus arm talent and athleticism to thrive in Hue Jackson's offense.

SD
LAREMY TUNSIL OTMISSISSIPPI

Keeping Philip Rivers upright is a priority with Mike McCoy entering a "make-or-break" season.

PICK NO.
4
DAL
EZEKIEL ELLIOTT RBOHIO ST.

Adding a disruptive edge rusher is tempting, but the presence of an electric runner in the backfield would alleviate the pressure on Tony Romo and allow the Cowboys to get back to the smashmouth approach that netted a division crown in 2014.

PICK NO.
5
JAC
MYLES JACK OLBUCLA

The Jaguars have significantly upgraded the defense with their free-agent moves, but the addition of a sideline-to-sideline menace would help Gus Bradley's troops challenge for the AFC South title.
PICK NO.

6
BAL
JOEY BOSA DEOHIO ST.

The presence of aging defenders on the edge could lead Ozzie Newsome to add the energetic rusher to the mix.

PICK NO.

JARED GOFF QBCALIFORNIA

If the 49ers decide to move on from Colin Kaepernick, it would be hard to bypass the Cal standout based on his polished game and tremendous upside.

PICK NO.
8

RONNIE STANLEY OTNOTRE DAME

With Jason Peters entering the twilight of his career, the Eagles could grab his successor at this point.

PICK NO.
9
TB
DEFOREST BUCKNER DEOREGON

Pairing Gerald McCoy with a long, rangy edge defender should help the Buccaneers generate a more consistent pass rush.

PICK NO.
10
NYG
VERNON HARGREAVES CBFLORIDA

Grabbing a polished cover corner to play the nickel position alongside Janoris Jenkins and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie would help the Giants match up with the explosive aerial attacks of their NFC East rivals.

CHI
SHAQ LAWSON DECLEMSON

John Fox loves edge defenders with nasty temperaments and solid technical skills.

PICK NO.
12

The release of Marques Colston could prompt Sean Payton to take a big-bodied WR1 to anchor the Saints' revamped offense.

PICK NO.
13

KEVIN DODD DECLEMSON

Despite adding Mario Williams to the front line, the Dolphins need to add a young, energetic edge defender to the rotation to spell Cameron Wake.

PICK NO.
14
OAK
SHELDON RANKINS DTLOUISVILLE

The Raiders could opt for a CB1 at this spot, but the opportunity to add an energetic interior rusher to a front line that features Khalil Mack, Bruce Irvin and Mario Edwards, Jr., would make the unit downright scary.

PICK NO.
15
STL
REGGIE RAGLAND ILBALABAMA

The loss of James Laurinaitis could prompt the Rams to insert a downhill thumper with a high football IQ into the traffic-cop position.

PICK NO.
16
DET
JACK CONKLIN OTMICHIGAN ST.

The addition of the ex-Spartan would solidify the Lions' front line at left tackle and allow the team to move Riley Reiff to the right side of the line.

PICK NO.
17
ATL
DARRON LEE OLBOHIO ST.

Dan Quinn's quest for speedy playmakers with diverse skills could lead the Falcons to target the Ohio State standout as a potential "three-down" linebacker in the team's "see-ball, get-ball' scheme.

PICK NO.
18
IND
TAYLOR DECKER OTOHIO ST.

Protecting Andrew Luck is the Colts' top priority after watching the team fail to make the playoffs without their leader under center.

PICK NO.
19
BUF
JARRAN REED DTALABAMA

Rex Ryan builds his defense around the big bodies in the trenches. Reed is a destructive force on the interior with the size, athleticism and energy to wreak havoc from multiple spots on the interior.

PICK NO.
20
NYJ
EMMANUEL OGBAH DEOKLAHOMA ST.

The Jets need an explosive pass rusher on the edges to destroy the timing of the passing game. Ogbah is a straight-line rusher with a combination of strength and power that could overwhelm right tackles at the next level.

PICK NO.
21
WAS
A'SHAWN ROBINSON DTALABAMA

Without Terrance Knighton, who remains a free agent, in the middle, the Redskins could look to add a rock-solid run stopper to the lineup.

PICK NO.
22
HOU
COREY COLEMAN WRBAYLOR

The Texans desperately need a speedy WR2 to pair with DeAndre Hopkins on the perimeter. Coleman is a home-run hitter capable of scoring from anywhere on the field.

LEONARD FLOYD OLBGEORGIA

The Vikings could bypass their WR need to select an athletic sideline-to-sideline playmaker.

PICK NO.

JOSH DOCTSON WRTCU

The loss of Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones could lead Marvin Lewis to take the ex-TCU standout to play opposite A.J. Green as the Bengals' new WR2.

PICK NO.
25
PIT
ELI APPLE CBOHIO ST.

The Steelers covet long, rangy corners with ball skills and instincts to thrive in a zone-based system. Apple is an intriguing prospect with a championship pedigree and a rapidly improving game.

PICK NO.
26

After losing Bruce Irvin in free agency, the Seahawks could use another designated pass rusher to play a key role in their sub-packages.

PICK NO.
27
GB
ANDREW BILLINGS NTBAYLOR

B.J. Raji's hiatus could lead GM Ted Thompson to add another big body to the front line to shore up the Packers' leaky run defense.

PICK NO.
28
KC
WILLIAM JACKSON III CBHOUSTON

The Chiefs need another long, rangy cover corner with superb ball skills to match up with their pass-happy AFC West rivals. Jackson is a versatile cover corner with terrific instincts and awareness.

PICK NO.
29
ARI
ROBERT NKEMDICHE DTMISSISSIPPI

The Cardinals' recent success with high-risk, high-reward players could pave the way for the team to take a flyer on the ultra-talented defender at this point.

PICK NO.
30
CAR
VONN BELL FSOHIO ST.
The Panthers need to add more speed and athleticism to the secondary. Bell is a talented "MOF" (middle of the field) defender with outstanding instincts and ball skills.

PICK NO.
31
DEN
PAXTON LYNCH QBMEMPHIS

If the Broncos fail to land Colin Kaepernick in a trade, John Elway could cast his eyes to the draft to grab his franchise quarterback of the future. Although Lynch needs some time to develop, the presence of Mark Sanchez gives the Broncos ample time to wait on the talented playmaker.

Just can't see us drafting a RB at #4 after signing Morris, Dunbar and still have McFadden on roster. I'm thinking QB or we try and trade back.

Trade down scenario...

By Jeff Cavanaugh | @JC1053

1 – Tennessee Titans: Laremy Tunsil – OT – Ole Miss: No need to overthink it. They have their franchise QB, time to protect him. Tunsil’s the best OT prospect I’ve seen in 3 years. He’s a bully and a ballerina all in one.

2 – Cleveland Browns: Jared Goff – QB – California: The Carson Wentz hype train is out in full force but I have Goff as the best QB in the draft and it’s not all that close to me. I don’t buy that RG3 is the long term answer in Cleveland.

3 – San Diego Chargers: Jalen Ramsey – DB – Florida State: Ramsey can play anywhere in the secondary. The Chargers lost Eric Weddle. They not only replace him, they grab a stud.

4 – LA Rams: Carson Wentz – QB – North Dakota State:

TRADE ALERT: Cowboys bail. Using the ProFootballTalk’s trade value chart, this pick is worth 1,800 points. The LA Rams pick at #15 (1050 points) and at #43 overall (480) and #45 (450). You want in the top 5 for a QB? You overpay a little bit. If you wanna be nice to them, pretend the Cowboys send them a 4th round pick along with #4 overall. The Rams pick their QB of the future.

5 – Jacksonville Jaguars: Myles Jack – LB – UCLA: Jack is the #1 player on my board. He has silly athletic ability and position flexibility. Knee being medically rechecked before the draft will matter for him.

6 – Baltimore Ravens: Deforest Buckner – DE – Oregon: Buckner’s best fit is as a 3-4 defensive end. Very long and powerful, he’ll be a rock solid player for a long time.

7 – San Francisco 49ers: Laquan Treadwell – WR – Ole Miss: There’s a lot of talk about Treadwell’s 40 time. I’m not worried about it. Larry Fitzgerald ran slower, Anquan Boldin ran slower etc. The way he wins isn’t with speed. It’s physicality, attacking the football in the air and breaking tackles when it’s in his hands.

8 – Philadelphia Eagles: Ezekiel Elliott – RB – Ohio State: I don’t think he runs the ball quite like Todd Gurley, but in terms of a do everything RB, Zeke is the truth. Run with vision, evasiveness and power, catch the ball, block. He does it.

9 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Joey Bosa – DE – Ohio State: A lot of people are mocking a CB to Tampa, but in this scenario there’s too good of a player still sitting on the board.

10 – New York Giants: Ronnie Stanley – OT – Notre Dame: This allows the Giants to move Ereck Flowers to the right side and be set at the OT spot trying to protect Eli Manning. Stanley is technically excellent, pass pro is easy to him. Wish he had more of a bully to him in the run game.

11 – Chicago Bears: Sheldon Rankins – DL – Louisville: Rankins can help a 3-4 team by playing both DE and NT. He’s a versatile player with power and the ability to penetrate on pass downs.

12 – New Orleans Saints: Shaq Lawson – DE – Clemson: The Saints defense was a mess last year. Lawson offers a strong player against the run that also brings pass rush.

13 – Miami Dolphins: Vernon Hargreaves – CB – Florida: Out with one undersized CB (Brent Grimes) and in with another one. Hargreaves is a shorter guy, but his athleticism and stickiness in coverage can’t be ignored.

14 – Oakland Raiders: Mackensie Alexander – CB – Clemson: Another team with a need at CB gets another guy with the physical traits to be a great cover guy.

15 – Dallas Cowboys (via LA Rams): Noah Spence – DE – Eastern Kentucky: The Cowboys haven’t addressed their biggest need, pass rush. Spence can help. He’s the guy in this draft that can win with speed and bend on the outside. Will need to get stronger in the run game, but getting to the passer is priority #1.

16 – Detroit Lions: Jack Conklin – OT – Michigan State: Someone has to help keep Matt Stafford standing upright. Conklin is a better athlete than he’s giving credit for, and as tough and mean as they come.

17 – Atlanta Falcons: Corey Coleman – WR – Baylor: He isn’t my 2nd favorite WR in this class, but the idea of him across from Julio Jones or ability to work out of the slot with all that attention somewhere else would let his big play potential shine.

18 – Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Kelly – C – Alabama: This team has ignored their OL too long. If a guy is good enough, there’s nothing wrong with going C in the first round. Ask the Dallas Cowboys.

19 – Buffalo Bills: Michael Thomas – WR – Ohio State: Sammy Watkins on one side, Michael Thomas on the other. Tyrod Taylor would enjoy coming to work. Thomas is a big WR that runs great routes and creates separation.

20 – New York Jets: Leonard Floyd – LB – Georgia: Floyd is a long quick twitch guy that can play on the edge and get to the QB.

21 – Washington Redskins: Reggie Ragland – LB – Alabama: At a bare minimum with Ragland you get a two down freight train tracking down RBs sideline to sideline.

22 – Houston Texans: Josh Doctson – WR – TCU: This pick creates a pretty darn good skill position group for QB Brock Osweiler. Pairing Doctson with DeAndre Hopkins gives the QB a couple of guys who are really good at turning inaccurate throws into completions.

23 – Minnesota Vikings: Sterling Shepard – WR – Oklahoma: Bridgewater needs more guys to throw to. Shepard is the best route runner in this draft class to me, he’s a top notch athlete and everything about his game is so fluid.

24 – Cincinnati Bengals: Andrew Billings – DT – Baylor: Putting Billings together with Geno Atkins just sounds like too much fun to pass up. Good luck dealing with that interior DL. Billings is a mountain you can’t move that also moves really well for a guy at his position.

25 – Pittsburgh Steelers: William Jackson III – CB – Houston: He has a knack for the football and great make up speed. I worry about his fluidity in coverage some, but there’s a lot of good here and rumor has it the Steelers are big fans.

26 – Seattle Seahawks: Cody Whitehair – OL – Kansas State: Whitehair played LT at Kansas State but profiles more as an interior guy. The list of good players he put the clamps on is pretty impressive. Upgrades that OL immediately.

27 – Green Bay Packers: Jarran Reed – DT – Alabama: Reed is impossible to move at the point of attack, and the number of times you see him hit a RB on the sideline or down the field is impressive. Motor that nevers slows down.

28 – Kansas City Chiefs: Karl Joseph – S – West Virginia: Joseph has the potential to be a star. Range to get sideline to sideline, a missile coming downhill and a devastating hitter. The only thing that can hold him back is not staying under control, misses too many tackles with aggression.

29 – Arizona Cardinals: Robert Nkemdiche – DL – Ole Miss: This guy has tons of talent that didn’t always translate to production. The physical tools he have can be an elite NFL football player.

30 – Carolina Panthers: Taylor Decker – OT – Ohio State: Cam Newton probably still sees Von Miller in his nightmares. Let’s give them a guy who can help him stay standing.

31 – Denver Broncos: Paxton Lynch – QB – Memphis: Denver has guys there that can play this year, grab them a future guy to groom to be the next franchise QB.

*Note: Because of the Cowboys trade down to #15, our net is now Noah Spence rushing the passer, in addition to now having 3 picks in the second round. Call one of them Kenneth Dixon, RB from La Tech, one of them a CB like Kendall Fuller from Va Tech or Jalen Mills from LSU, and one of them a safety like Jeremy Cash from Duke or Keanu Neal from Florida. Or plug in whatever names you like in that area. Instead of taking our guy at 4, we got a player that’s not far off what we would have gotten and added two extras in the 2nd.

I'd rather just draft Wentz in all honesty if that's the haul we are getting.
