I don't need answers or reason. I just need to make sure that is is clear that he quit because he didn't want to compete.
It's pretty obvious he left because he didn't want to split snaps at QB. It's a pretty regular occurrence in college football. If the coach picks another QB over you, and you're in the same class, there is no real reason to stick with that college football program. So he went somewhere that would provide a better situation for him.

I don't need answers or reason. I just need to make sure that is is clear that he quit because he didn't want to compete. He's not a victim of circumstances. He didn't get done wrong. He underperformed and was asked to compete. Daddy got real mad and called his buddy on staff at OU and Baker was welcomed with open arms. This story about OU coach not talking to him beforehand is a lie.
There is absolutely no arguing this point, and is key to it all.

That's where you have it wrong. He didn't quit because he was going to have to split PT. He quit because he was asked to compete for the job in practice. Also, Kingsbury had not picked Webb over him. He told him he would have to compete with Webb to start in the bowl game.

But he was in the mix. He won the job when the season opened. I mean, the other two QBs were hurt but still. He was given ample opportunity to win it. Then he was given another chance. He wasn't told he lost the job. He was told that he needed to computer. Frankly, I think he would have won the job.

It is one thing to know that you've lost and that you are ready to move on. Brewer left the same year and went into play at VT. I'm not worried about him. When you are told that you are splitting reps and have to fight for your job and you throw a fit and leave you are just weak IMO. That's a brat move. Why not win the job and play balls out in the bowl game? Any competitor would rise to the challenge and be happy to win the job.

The production did keep on going what the hell have you been watching, the QB had a bad game and is young.

I never said they would not miss Kliff it was you acting like he was the key to everything, the offense has continued to be at the top of the SEC what exactly are you going on about?

I've got a bad feeling about this game.

No pressure on Baker and he rips us up.

Tech had gone on a skid the last half of the last 3 seasons.

Tech always plays the Sooners tough. And they are at home. I am not real comfortable. Just saw they are in Norman. Feel a little better.

I know.

I can hardly wait to listen to the morning shows on Monday. Too bad this game wasn't on a Thursday night. The piss and vinegar would be high on a Friday morning. Instead now the fans have roughly 36 hours to cool off. It's not fair.

Typically OU likes to keep it in front of them and tackle short against us.
