Carolina is pretty hyped too after coming off a big road win at Seattle.

They also have a very good defense which is a bad matchup for a poor and inconsistent Eagles offense.
Carolina will have a letdown after the big Seattle win. They aren't a 7-0 team.

The eagles meanwhile will be fired up because they dug out of their hole to take the division lead.

You guys watch. That's how ebb and flow works in the nfl.

Thats what people on the Giants bandwagon were saying coming into this game after they had a last second win over the 49ers to get to 3-2 and the NFCE lead.

How did that turn out?

Carolina may not be a 7-0 team, but they're better than Philly. They'll win next week.

Or they will come off a division win with too much confidence with the feeling they will win the division, giving Dallas the advantage because they are fighting for their lives.

Such a 3-headed paradox.

Seeing Eli shook up over the pressures from the Eagles makes me feel good about our pass rush next week.

Randle sucks, so nobody really gives a shit what he thinks.
Yep, it's why CMike has gotten all the first team reps this week with DMac as the 3rd down back

And of the Giants had won tonight, they would've gone into next week's game with momentum and wanting to avenge the loss to us in week 1.

With Cassell playing QB and probably no Dez, we were going to have an uphill climb regardless. But the key is, instead of watching the Giants get a 3 game lead on us, we'll only be 1.5 ganes back due to tonight's loss.

There is no logical reason why anyone should want the Giants to win this game tonight.
Nope, that's not how ebb and flow works in the nfl. Had the Giants won tonight they'd be much more likely to lose to us. Why? Because otherwise they'd have to win 5 in a row and I don't think they are good enough to do it. And, Monday night winners who travel often lose the following week.

You guys need to chill out, what we saw last night are two average at best teams who are treading water. As long as they keep treading water and we can find some way to win a game or two before Romo comes back, we're golden. If Romo comes back for the last 7 games and we are within 2 of whoever is leading the division, we have a good shot.

No matter what happened the Cowboys game would be considered a must win for NY for reasons we all know well.

Emotional ebb and flow usually doesn't affect the Giants, especially early in the season.

A far bigger concern is Rashad Jennings vs. the suspect Cowboy run defense. If they stay balanced and keep feeding him the football, it will be really hard for Dallas to win.

Dallas will probably score 17 points, so they need to force at least one turnover to have a chance. Don't see how they win the turnover battle though with Cassel at QB.

Barring outstanding play from Michael and 0 turnovers from Cassel, this is look like a loss. Too bad because it's a must-win for Dallas, too.

I see zero logic in this. Rashad Jennings has sub par numbers, from very very few carries. Suddenly he's going to become a workhorse back? Meanwhile Dallas has just gotten two of its best D-linemen back, and its starting MLBer, who seems to be playing really well.

God save us from an offense that managed to get one TD on an Eagles defense over the course of a game. Shit. Brandon Weedon managed that much in one quarter.

Meanwhile their defense made 2015 Demarco Murray look like 2014 Demarco Murray. Bradford won that game decisively with 3 interceptions, but somehow Cassel has to come in there and be perfect?

I totally get it townsend, but I feel like the Giants are turning the corner here.

Outside of that fumble in Philly, Jennings has looked good the last three straight weeks. It's when they start trying to include Williams that they seem to lose offensive rhythm. Jennings doesn't have to carry them either, just present a capable option along with passes to Vereen.

Recall also that McClain has been brittle and the interior DL still sucks against the run. They aren't built to last long. If New York is still running in the second half, this is going to be a tough game.

Eli and company were overly generous yesterday. Manning threw two picks. Jennings fumbled... that shat's not going to happen again, right? Besides, OBJr will be one step healthier. Trends don't lie, and the Eagles just pwn NY in one game every year. Meanwhile New York has lost to Dallas 5 times in a row, mainly thanks to Romo.

What are the odds of six in a row at home with no dez, no romo, and a new QB and RB in their debut games?

Meanwhile their defense made 2015 Demarco Murray look like 2014 Demarco Murray. Bradford won that game decisively with 3 interceptions, but somehow Cassel has to come in there and be perfect?
Remember, Dallas's defense is built around the offense possessing the football. Philly's defense is the exact opposite-- they expect their O to go three and out or worse. Fletcher Cox is an animal for them and keys a stout, tough front.

The Dallas defense is built on 11 guys running gassers hustling to be in two places at once. Outside of Hardy, none are built to take that or remain stout in the face of a second half running game.

Lastly, Cassel has been interception prone over his career. It's a lot to expect him to excel in his first start on the road vs. a division opponent.

I see no problem scoring 17 points. We must run the football late and keep the Giants out of rhythm.

I kind of agree. I think Michael will need to put up decent numbers for us to have a shot. 23 carries for 92 yards or so. If Cassel can hang back and do deep strikes from play action, with minimal need to face 3rd and long we have a serious chance of winning.

But if we find ourself leaning on him we're pretty much screwed.

In essence we need to sustain drives. If we win the time of possession, we can win the game.

But just like very other game this year, it can go really bad really fast.

Our lead back will never get that many carries unless Cassel is able to move the chains with consistency. If Cassel is able to do that I agree, we win.
