Yep, the rule is fucking idiotic and needs serious review. This is about the third or fourth time this year this interpretive bullshit has impacted a game.

No more of the refs or replay deciding what a football move is.

The NFL just doesn't make sense.

It is the only major sport where they have nebulous rules that can affect if teams score or not, win or not.

Very discouraging if you want the game to have integrity.
