Before I spend 16 minutes watching this, does this guy actually know what he is talking about?

Excellent video and it shows the real problem with Weeden. He doesn't read defenses and have an understanding of who should be open before they are open. With corners bailing it also baffles me that Weeden never attempted a comeback route.

He is an apologist for the team, if that answers your question.

Yep, I wouldn't trust anything from a Fisher-paid writer.

Not sure how he is an apologist in the video. It's just a video breaking down the coverage Weeden faced and the potential routes that would have been successful had he attempted those throws. Not sure what there is to trust or not trust.

Agreed.

Being able to throw a football doesn't mean you understand the game. Weeden's basic lack of understanding is no more evident than the plays this guy points out on the video. Football is closer to basketball than it is baseball. There are few clean throws in the NFL. You must anticipate where your target can and will be and where the defenders can't get to.

Don't know if Romo makes these specific plays either, but I think he'd have certainly targeted Witten and Williams much more.

Romo's arm strength was bothering me before his injury. Really hope it's all good when he returns. Even more, hope we still have a chance at that point.
