So the injury prone LB that Kelly traded his star RB for is out for the season? Who could have seen that coming?

Sounds like Kam Chancellor is ending his holdout.

DeMarco Murray left Wednesday's practice early with a hamstring injury.
Murray won't talk to the media Wednesday, and don't expect coach Chip Kelly to shed any clarity on the injury. For now, we'll just have to sit back and wait until the Eagles return to practice Thursday. If Murray can't play against the Jets, expect Ryan Mathews to handle early-down duties with Darren Sproles' role staying the same as a pass-game specialist out of the backfield.

I really liked Murray when he was here but man he is starting to look like a sensitive bitch. Man his season is going in the tanker.

With or without Murray, the Eagles were going to have a very tough time of it at the Jets who are a confident bunch playing great football.

Eagles falling to 0-3 would be magnificent.

They may have improved chances without Murray...

This is why I said to let him walk.

I found it more than coincidental that his first healthy season, or at least his first season without missing any significant time, came during a contract year.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciated what he did last year as it helped our team to win; but he was my least favorite player last year.

Just saw that Drew Brees will miss Sunday's game with that shoulder injury.

Hopefully he's out another week as well. I mean...prayers up for a speedy recovery. :unsure

The #Eagles are placing K Cody Parkey on IR with a groin injury, out for the season. They will sign Caleb Sturgis, sources say

Former Washington tight end Chris Cooley, who has not played in the NFL since 2012, will be one of several players to work out for the Giants Tuesday, Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News reports. This according to a source.

Cooley, 33, has been out of football for four years, and he hasn't had a productive season since 2010, when he made 77 catches for 849 yards for Washington.

His career was derailed by left knee issues. He’s spent the last few years co-hosting a radio show called “The Drive” in Washington, D.C.

But he’s so desperate to return to the NFL he said on his radio show in August that he’d take the league minimum salary to suit up for Washington, which had no interest.

I hope he signs with them. For some reason, this guy was a cult icon with those idiots. Him signing with the Giants would be a nice little kick in the teeth for them.

That Saints team needs to be blown up. Payton's a good coach but he's in a rut. He should have redone his offense to be run-first this offseason and demanded some actual run blocking out of that highly paid interior line, fed Ingram some carries and taken some of the load off Brees, who has led the NFL in attempts forever. Instead he goes back to the well, trying the same stuff that didn't work last year. He doesn't have the WRs to run a Big 12 spread offense anymore. Now Brees is hurt and his team is in a nose dive.

They just needed to keep adding weapons and they have done a terrible job of it. Jimmy Graham has been their best addition in terms of talent on that offense and look where he came from originally. That team needs a serious infusion of talent at the skill position to make that offense work. Their TE situation sucks and outside of Cooks their WR situation blows too. As much as I think Cooks is a good young WR he is hardly a difference maker. He is more like a number 2 type WR. That offense needs a stud receiving talent somewhere and they have none.

What a rip off for the Pats.

Michael WhogivesashitTE for a young aggressive lineman?

I really think Belichick has Jedi powers.

No shit..would be nice to see us flip Hanna for anything but I'm sure we'll just let him leave and get nothing
