Havent heard of this guy before so ni how accurate this is

Rotoworld just has this-
Saints coach Sean Payton indicated Drew Brees may need extra rest this week after taking a big hit to his shoulder Week 2 against the Bucs.
"We'll see how he's feeling, coming along," Payton said. Brees admitted the shoulder hindered him on deep throws against the Bucs, but he was not favoring the shoulder on Monday in the locker room. He may see limited practice reps this week, but it would be a shock if he does not play Week 3 against the Panthers. Sep 21 - 1:11 PM

so the out for the year is probably just trolling

They are now semi-officially saying "a few weeks".

If we can't beat a Saints team with McCown at QB and Ryan running the D, we deserve all the misery.

So all we need Weeden and the defense to do is steal one against the Falcons, and then we are in good shape against the Saints.... 4-0 heading into what was a loss anyway against the Pats... By then Dez should be almost back.... :art

If we can get to 4-1 going into the bye and then get Dez back, with Tony coming back a few weeks after that, we should be in real good shape in a division that could be won at 9-7.

Apparently the Brees injury isn't as serious as originally thought. He is day to day.

Giants drop Preston Parker

Posted by Josh Alper on September 22, 2015, 11:07 AM EDT

Wide receiver Preston Parker piled up dropped passes in the first two weeks of the regular season and he’s been dropped by the Giants as a result.

The team announced Tuesday that they have released the veteran wideout. Defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis, who spent the offseason with the team, has been re-signed to take his place on the roster.

Parker’s five dropped passes have been part of the sea of woes that have helped the Giants to losses against the Cowboys and Falcons and keeping him over James Jones, who has produced for the Packers, has not reflected well on the Giants’ personnel department.

Thursday’s game against Washington is probably too soon for his return, but releasing Parker may be a sign that the Giants expect to have Victor Cruz back from a calf injury in the near future. Cruz, who is not expected to practice Tuesday, has yet to play this season and Parker’s departure leaves the Giants with four healthy wideouts on the depth chart.

:lol @ the Giants

Brees either won't play or will be limited when we see him.

If we could somehow get to 4-1 into the bye, we all should pop a bottle of champagne.

Sources: Eagles LB Kiko Alonso could be lost for the season

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, after undergoing further testing on Monday, there is a possibility that linebacker Kiko Alonso could be placed on injured reserve.

Alonso left the Eagles' Week 2 game in the first half, and it was later reported that he was forced from action due to an injury to his left knee. This knee is the same one that Alonso tore prior to the 2014 regular season.

Alonso had been lining up as one of Philadelphia's starting inside linebackers, although he did cede some snaps to veteran linebacker DeMeco Ryans. In Week 1, Alonso played 49-of-77 defensive snaps compared to just 28-of-77 for Ryans. He also made this spectacular interception to rob Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White of a touchdown.
