As well as the defensive players we have......I'm sure a certain practice squad QB will put in a good word for him.
No question we love our Boise guys. Wasn't sure if Lawrence played with him at all. Pretty sure Scandrick would have but IR players aren't really around the team as much.As well as the defensive players we have......
Same foot injury as Bryant. Looks like he hasn't been right since.Hakeem Nicks fell off my radar. What's the deal with him? He was really good for the Giants for several years and then just kind of disappeared.

Why so down on street? Because of one tipped ball INT?Yeah I would sign Nicks. He had 38 catches and 4 touchdowns last year. We don't need the player he used to be, just a solid guy who can keep Street off the field.

I wouldn't exactly call that a tipped ball INT. In fact, I don't think it should have been ruled an INT at all. Looked to me that he pulled the ball in, took a step or two, then had the ball stripped out.Why so down on street? Because of one tipped ball INT?
Heaven help us if Dwayne Bowe is ever available.I wouldn't mind Robert Meachum...he is still out there.
If we sign Nicks Schmitty will be lactating all over the place.
That's not how I intended it, just asking what you think he lacks? I think he's a nice young player who has had 2 offseasons to work with Romo and I would think that would be just as good as some retread who hasn't been productive in 3 years like Nicks.Seriously? What has he shown at all? Your question comes across as if he's been good other than that one play.
Oh, well that's great.Same foot injury as Bryant. Looks like he hasn't been right since.

I had hopes for Street when we drafted him, but even in limited roles so far I haven't seen much promise. He played half the game against the giants and gave us nothing. He didn't show much in the preseason either, and if he'd developed in his two years like he should, the preseason is where he should show up at the very least.
I hope I'm wrong but I see a guy who hasn't flashed, hasn't been pushing anyone above him on the depth chart, and the team has so little confidence in his ability to step up that they immediately are looking at guys like Nicks who is mostly washed up.
Clyde Gates is the worst of the group in my opinion. I wouldn't waste my time.
Familiarity will be the reason he is added.Clyde Gates is the worst of the group in my opinion. I wouldn't waste my time.
