Must be nice to wake up and check the score and be pleasantly surprised, though.
Yes and no. I was even awake on the computer before I really checked. Its saw a post about Romo on Facebook and went and checked the score. Happy they won but mad at myself for turning it off.

Another major F up by Eli that isn't being mentioned was the snap after OBJ had ran the dead ball to the endzone. The Giants were given a new 40 second play clock, and both it and the game clock started on the placement of the ball. Eli should have run the entire play clock down before snapping the ball, but instead snapped it with 18-19 seconds left. He's getting skewered for throwing the ball away and stopping the clock, and rightfully so. But this was also a HUGE boneheaded mistake that left time on the clock for Dallas late in the game.
He was thinking about his new contract and what kind of toys he can buy.

It's incompetence because it was Garrett's insistence to not use his time in the preseason to be ready. Players look sluggish and out of sync.
Well, that seems like it's going to be a theme under him.

But like last year, if they shake it off and hit their stride, I don't see how it's incompetence. It's a conscious choice to sacrifice preparation for the starters in exchange for health. Now, if overall the team wasn't getting any work, I'd be pissed, but we do know that work and preparation are definitely stressed, they just make a few too many exceptions for the stars.

I don't agree with the decision but it's a deliberate part of the plan and the plan even escaped with a win. That's like the opposite of incompetence.

Sometimes you just have to win ugly. I'm concerned about the next month or so without Dez, Gregory, Hardy, and McCain, but I feel the Cowboys have grown mentally tough enough to get through.

Eagles, Falcons, Saints (indoors), and Patriots is not a light stretch.
Whew... without Bryant, 2-2 in that stretch will be an accomplishment.

Basically I'm not saying that at all.
No, but it sure grinds your gears when someone says something negative. You quickly remind anyone that expresses a negative opinion that they should have waited and saw before posting.

I saw great composure by the Cowboys last night. There were some instances from the past where we make mistakes and compound it by making more mistakes. Romo in particular was mentally sharp.

Untalked about so far... special teams not great, but we sure as hell shut down Dwayne Harris last night.

Not anywhere near true. I give my share of negative comments. Your conclusion is in error because all I said is wait to the end before throwing in the towel. Some folks gave up before the game was finished. The fat lady just hadn't sang yet so there was hope.

We'll see dez full strength at Thanksgiving. Still good enough to pull through this.
If Dez isn't back in 3 weeks I will be shocked. He'd play in a boot hoping down the field on one leg if they'd let him. He'd probably still be our best WR too

Could be but Romo had more practice time without Bryant so he should be more comfortable with some of the remainder.

I think you'll catch me unless Matt Bryant has an awful night

Feh. It is your common practice, then act all confused when someone brings it up.

We just need to stop returning kicks when we are 6-7 yards deep in the end zone. The coverage was excellent though.

So what is our answer to Dez going down? Does someone step up, Escobust? Wiliams? Beasley? Linehan has shown
he's going to get Dunbar in the game, I just wonder how long he holds up. McFadden had a real nice catch and run last night too.
