I agree, two straight drives we had no choice but to pass. Those things are going to skew the numbers. Otherwise we stuck to the run pretty well and Randle averaged over 4 ypc. So it's not nearly as bad as those numbers might look.
In fact, when the Giants went up 10 points after the 2nd half opening FG, the Cowboys next two drives started with 2 runs.

The old Cowboys wouldn't have done that.

I'll definitely miss Dez but I expect Williams and Beasley to pick up the slack fairly well. I think Tony has built a really good chemistry with those two. The biggest problem will be the redzone where Dez is just so clutch for us. No one else does what he does near the goal line.

I'm worried about Gregory though. Mincey is a peice of shit as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully Russel can do some things.

Well I stand corrected.

What a great game.

If they can split the next 4 games, Dez will be back, and so will Hardy. They should be primed for a nice run thru the end of the season.

I I was actually surprised with the run game .....not bad at all. And Dunbar was money out of the backfield.

You chalking up Randy Gregory's injury as fluke, or that he's injury prone per his scouting report?

Not only do we get the enjoyment of the win and knowing that Giants fans are miserable, but so are skins and eagles fans. My facebook is blowing up with those guys crying about how lucky that "choker Romo" got. :lol A sure fire way to know if somebody is a football moron... Ask them their feelings on Romo, and when they start off with how big a choker he is, just smile and nod.

Does Romo get dressed in the dark? I wear Brioni and can't afford it. WTF does he wear?

We get the Kraken back for the Patriots, right? And what about Reggie Wayne as a stop-gap?

Off the top of my head, some plays that warrant re-props:
1. Romo's TD pass to Escobust. Randle with the pass protection and Romo staying cool enough to recognize and deliver the window between two defenders in the middle of the field.

2. Romo's first TD pass to Witten. Romo pre-snap saw a formation and player mismatch and moved Witten to a new position for the easy TD pass on the flat out.

3. Romo's second pass to Dunbar on the GW drive. Romo steps up to scramble and dumps it to Randle across Romo's running momentum and Randle YAC another 10 yards.

That's the truth right there. Romo always wants the ball, he's never scared of the moment. IMO he's my generation's George Blanda. That's what you want in a QB.

Losing Bryant for a few weeks sucks but I have been rewinding and rewinding seeing Eli's face when Witten caught the game winner. :laff

in 2011-2013 when we forced Romo to pull it out of the jaws of defeat it was because our defense was miserable. Today it was because the offense wasted a lot of opportunities and handed the Giants 17 points. If we can manage to get back to winning th turnover differential, this team shouldn't have to do the cardiac Cowboys act any more.

I should know better by now but turned it off when they got the first down inside the 5 yard line.

The moral to the story is sometimes you just have to wait and see how things are gonna turn out. Lots of jawboning on this thread.

I agree with Marshall Faulk. The run pass ratio was ridiculous tonight

45 passes to 23 runs.

That shit didn't get us anywhere for 7 years. Last year we leaned on the running game and we were legit Super Bowl contenders.

We're back-sliding into the life of sin.
Well a lot of that was the last 2 drives I'm sure.
