Other than my Sooners I'd say the game I'm most interested in checking out tomorrow is UCLA vs UNLV.

Gotta check in on my new man crush, Josh Rosen.

Game Day just did a segment on a Japanese football coach who studied under Stoops.

The championship ring that the Japanese coach was sporting was from the Rice Bowl. :lol

Not made up.

Baylor assistants Briles, Wallis suspended for recruiting violations
Posted: Friday, September 11, 2015 6:36 pm

Baylor has suspended offensive coordinator Kendal Briles and receivers coach Tate Wallis for Saturday’s home opener with Lamar, announcing the moves Friday.

The suspension was for an NCAA violation related to evaluating prospective players during the spring recruiting period, Baylor said. Neither coach will be able to participate in the Lamar game and will not be in attendance at McLane Stadium for the game.

“We want to stay within the NCAA’s guidelines and are taking this action in accordance with the NCAA’s new penalty structure,” said Baylor head coach Art Briles, Kendal’s father. “Kendal and Tate have cooperated fully throughout this process and we look forward to having them resume their coaching duties next week. We will continue to work closely with our compliance staff to ensure that future violations are avoided.”

According to a Sports Illustrated story, NCAA investigators in May interviewed a pair of Dallas-area high school coaches after Briles and Wallis were accused of having impermissible contact with recruits at spring football games and a track meet, according to a source. NCAA rules prohibit college coaches from having contact with recruitable athletes during the spring evaluation period. Last year the NCAA’s spring evaluation period for football was April 15 to May 31.

Passing game coordinator Jeff Lebby will call the plays for the Lamar game, a Baylor official said Friday.

So does anyone think Auburn basically stinking will hurt their ratings? I doubt it. It's why all these SEC teams starting ranked so high matters. Because barely beating Jacksonville State probably won't hurt them in the rankings at all. Truth is they shouldn't be anywhere close to the top 10.

I wish they would lose to Jacksonville State and then win the SEC. That would be amazing.

The team went 8-5 last year and lost their bowl game to Wisconsin. Not exactly sure what prompted them to be ranked 6 in the country other then playing in the SEC.
Yea I didn't get it either, all the pundits admitting they might be wrong on twitter right now about Jeremy Johnson being the next Cam is funny though

I'm trying to not be gay for Mahomes right now.
I'm not even fighting it anymore. That throw late in the second quarter where he threw across his body while being chased was a thing of beauty.

The Ohio St. offense is sputtering against Hawaii.

It's been so bad that they benched Cardale Jones early in the 2nd quarter and put JT Barrett in at QB.

Barrett gave them a brief boost of energy but they haven't done much of anything since his first series.

Also we're getting our answer to this week's question of "is Notre Dame is that good or is Texas that bad".

Virginia has kept them in check and has outplayed them since about the mid point of the 1st qtr.

Turns out that if you have a QB who can complete a simple forward pass, you can move the ball and put points up on ND. Who knew?
