I did, I yelled "OHSHEEET....that's offensive PI!"
Yup.

When I saw the flag, I thought for sure the play was getting called back, but then they call it on Carr.

All Carr has to say is "Scoreboard. Next question." If you want people to quit asking you about it then quit giving them stories to write about it...
I think that story was going to be written no matter what he said.

"It was a great catch. Too bad it wasn't the game-winner. Good for us though."

That would've been the perfect response

Giants' Victor Cruz, Jon Beason ruled out vs. Cowboys
by David P. Woods Sep 11, 1:08 PM

The New York Giants will be without wide receiver Victor Cruz when they take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Cruz was officially ruled out Friday. He's battling a calf injury that's likely related to his rehabilitation from a torn patellar tendon and hasn't practiced since Aug. 17.

With Cruz sidelined, receiver Rueben Randle is expected to start opposite Odell Beckham Jr.

Joining Cruz on the sideline will be linebacker Jon Beason. He's dealing with a knee injury.

The Giants usually torch us. I'm hoping that with our improved defense and injury like this, that our defense can put up a better showing.

Giants counting on rookies Ereck Flowers, Landon Collins

Kieran Darcy, ESPN Staff Writer

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants will take the field Sunday night in Dallas relying heavily on two rookies.

Left tackle Ereck Flowers will be protecting Eli Manning's blind side, and safety Landon Collins will be one of the anchors of the defense. Their play could go a long way toward dictating the Giants' fate in this game, and this season.

The Giants drafted Flowers ninth overall out of Miami but were forced to plug him into the starting lineup right away because of Will Beatty's pectoral injury.

"We feel he's had a good camp," offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said Thursday. "He's working hard on his technique, and looking forward to seeing him on Sunday night."

A left tackle making his debut on the road, in Dallas no less, is particularly challenging. "We gotta go out and we gotta help him," McAdoo said. "We gotta get his feet wet.

"The biggest thing for these young guys is going out and getting in this crowd noise and getting off on the snap count. If you can give any piece of advice to the young guys, I'd say, when the ball's snapped you better be moving."

But McAdoo did express confidence in the Giants' reconfigured offensive line overall: "We look forward to them jelling as the year goes on. We have a solid group there."

As for Collins, who the Giants traded up to select with the first pick in the second round out of Alabama, head coach Tom Coughlin expressed confidence in him Thursday.

Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo likes Collins too, but also acknowledged his lack of experience.

"Active guy, runs real well, he's real fast, downhill speed guy. I think he's a physical guy [too]," Spagnuolo said. "In the preseason you try to keep your guys from getting dinged, so I don't know that he played as many reps as he probably needed -- I know he didn't play as many as he needed.

"A guy like that who comes in at that position as a rookie needs a thousand reps in games, so it's just going to take time before he's up to where we want him, and he's going to get a baptism by fire, that's just the way it is."

The same could be said for the entire Giants' defense, which judging by the current depth chart could feature a few rather inexperienced starters in Collins, fellow safety Cooper Taylor and defensive tackle Markus Kuhn.

"Hopefully we'll gel quicker rather than slower," Spagnuolo said. "But we're going to have to live through some growing pains, I think that's going to happen.

Same-Old-Cowboys litmus test.

Eli will expect to pass for 300+ and be barely pressured. LBs will expect to pick Romo.

Cowboys should dismantle an average team missing Cruz, JPP and other starters.

The league's players use Dez and DeMarco's outstanding 2014 performances as convenient excuses to dis Romo, Garrett, and the team in general.

Down 21-3, Romo HANDLED them last year in their own house.

This year, the entire team needs to take ownership of pummeling the Giants. Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, the backs and defense need to make a statement.

Don't bring your injured, weak-assed, football into our house and expect to make a game of it.

That's positive.
