Scott Linehan's has special relationship with Highland Park High School. He developed a relationship with head coach Randy Allen. His middle son, Michael, played for Highland Park and his youngest son, Marcus, is a freshman there this season Highland Park.

Linehan watched as Highland Park lost to Arkansas' Pulaski Academy, the team that runs trick-plays galore and almost never punts, 40-13, this year to snap Highland Park's 84-game winning streak.

So did Linehan get any ideas watching Pulaski Academy?

"We've got a few (trick plays)," Linehan said. "The ones the running backs want to put in is the handoff double pass."

A reporter mentioned that Darren McFadden some touchdown passes on his record.

"He's got throws on film," Linehan said. "I'm going to look that up."

McFadden is 1-for-3 on passing in the NFL. His only completion was a 16-yard touchdown pass in 2013 with the Raiders.

In college at Arkansas, McFadden went 14 for 22 for 205 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception.

Receiver Dez Bryant has also been known to show off impressive arm strength in practice.

"He's been chiming in on about having a play since I've been here," Linehan said.

I think our offense is too good to screw around with trick plays. They are fun and interesting for the players but I'd rather have Romo throwing the ball and our elite O-line protecting him then to try some trickery and blow a scoring opportunity like the Steelers did last night.

I love a good jap play on occasion, especially now since we don't have to rely on them.

In college, we used to joke that McFadden was a better passer than Tebow.
