I don't think so. Especially when you factor in how they got whipped over the last few games. Remember last year Arkansas and TCU took turns spanking them at the end of the season.

The losses are acceptable, IMO. But the lack of fight/effort in those games is damming.
It's weird because the reason we got those 6 measly wins that we did last year was because of effort and playing over our heads.

We hung tight in losses to UCLA, OU and Baylor all because of effort and Strong getting the players to believe. There was a 3 game stretch of wins towards the end of the season where it looked like things were starting to click and you could see how much the players were buying in to him, but since that last win, we've been embarrassing.

He can't help that we have such an average roster and one of the worst QB situations you'll find for a major program, but there's only so much leeway he'll receive if these big losses keep piling up.

It just sucks to be such a bad team right now. :sad

Kansas State issued an apology for this.

The Kansas State band made a formation that was supposed to be the Starship Enterprise from “Star Trek” attacking a Kansas Jayhawk.

However, people thought the spaceship looked like male genitalia.

Texas looked mediocre but that freshman Malik Jefferson looks like a stud, that kid was all over the place.

Yup.

Mentioned him yesterday before the game started. He's one of Strong's new recruits.

I was like "Damn, who is #46, I wish he was at ND". Great instincts, he's probably going to be Texas' best LB since Derrick Johnson, maybe better.

I think a lot of the leftover Mack Brown guys are mailing it in. The coaching staff needs to broaden the youth movement and do their best to give there guys a chance to learn on the job. IMO, Strong has another year before they let him go, he needs to get ready for it even if it costs him some wins now.

That's what I expected. He is the best combination of running and throwing of the Ohio State QBs. It's going to be interesting to see who falls for Cardale in next year's draft.

Yeah, it will. He is an awesome physical specimen, but I don't think he has a future as a starting NFL QB.

And just like that Elliott ends the football game.

Nice while it lasted.

He is a physical specimen that someone will fall in love with but I don't trust Urban Meyer's offense to actually prepare a QB for the NFL.

That #45 for VT has some moves for a bigger guy. Reminded me of Mike Alstott.

As an aside, that was some outstanding playcalling by VT on that drive. They were a step ahead of OSU the entire drive.

VT killed OSU again by rolling the pocket and bringing all the action to the right then throwing back left.

Took 3 plays to regain the lead after the break.

That's what happens when you have good coaching.

so much for Virginia Tech being competitive in this game. Michael Brewer is out with a collarbone injury

That spin was ridiculous. I think he is going to be a good wide receiver in college and even play Sunday's. Too athletic and he can catch. Scary
