Are you weird about the Eagles because they have your favorite Oklahoma players?
What has that got to do with the Eagles. You are the one discussing them and this is your statement. My remark was completely general. Get it right before you make disparaging comments

That wasn't disparaging. It was an honest question. Bradford is a QB who gets hurt every year and the Eagles run a system that gets their QB hurt every year. Combine those two things and in all likelihood the QB is going to get hurt next year. Why do you pretend like the odds are no different then any other NFL player?

Don't be so defensive all the time.

What's the pretense? Players get hurt every week. Maybe Bradford gets hurt maybe he doesn't. Maybe Romo gets smacked. Maybe Dez gets a torn ACL. There are hundreds of maybes but it's still a reasonable statement that every game day someone could be a play away from getting injured for the year and that's a league wide potential notwithstanding what you posed about one player.

I actually didn't pose it about Bradford. But it doesn't take much common sense to know Bradford's odds of getting hurt this year are far greater then the average NFL QB.

Trying to pretend Bradford has the same odds of getting hurt as any other player is foolish. Some players are just more prone to being injured than others. Yes, every player is one big hit from being hurt. But some are more apt to be hurt by a routine hit than others are, too.

You didn't pose about Bradford? Of course you did. It was your example and I made it a generalization about players in the league. That is why I was puzzled when you asked if I was some weird Eagles fan. You were very specific about him.

Well that may be the case but injury can strike at the most inopportune times to anyone. Even coaches can get hurt on the sideline. Ask Jimmy Johnson.

It was NoDak's example...

Yeah, no kidding. And like I said, some are more prone to it than others. Somebody like, oh, I don't know... Sam Bradford.

Yup. Obviously it's the nature of the NFL that any player can get injured on any given play. But it's also pretty obvious that Bradford is at a higher risk of injury than most given his history and the system that the Eagles run. Look at the shot that Suggs laid on him in his first preseason game. NFL has come out and said that those types of hits are perfectly legal. You can bet that other teams will be teeing off on him unless Kelly changes up his system.

They make Sanchez look respectable as a QB. I have no doubt that the Eagles will still put up points next year. Regardless of which QB is running their offense. It's why I've said they still probably win 9-10 games.
Eh. They run a zillion plays so all the stats they put up have to be taken in that context.

Even the points they put up, people forget that the faster they go, the more opportunities it gives the opposing team. They routinely lose time of possession, sometimes by a lot. It puts tremendous pressure on their defense. You can put up 30 points but if you need a lot of extra possessions to do it, it's not as impressive. Especially when you are giving the other team extra chances to do the same thing.

They are the ultimate team where you can't view anything they do in a vacuum.

Points per possession would be a much better indicator of their effectiveness and I don't know but I'd bet it isn't as high as their raw numbers might suggest.

Well that is true as well. When you run more plays you're naturally going to have more yards/TDs and just statistics in general.

Kelly was big shit in college but he's the Mike Leach of the NFL, basically.
