Yeah that was very agenda driven by Rolling Stone it did not fit into anything Dez said or the article as a whole.

When I read it I was like WTF does that have to do with anything, It seemed most of the article was done before the contract was done and they wanted to go with he was not getting signed because of race.

It was very unprofessional of the writer who clearly does not understand how contracts are done in the NFL and probably hates football.
It's the new thing in journalism. Give something a racial slant and get a half million more clicks and endless, mindless bickering in the comments section.

And those are just the incidents we've heard about. I've heard many times that there are a lot more things that never came to the light of day.

So he has to pay for every rumor that was ever started about him. Even just a bunch of unspecified ones?

It's not so much about paying for the rumors, but speculation that ownership knew some things that gave them concern that the public as a whole might not be aware of.
