He still looked pretty good this preseason, make it happen JerryI will say it. Despite age and injury concerns I am that desperate I want to give him a shot.

That already exceeds what Dunbar is going to get you.I would not. He's 34 and been under 4ypc two of the last three years, including 2014.
The replacement for Dunbar is going to have to play special teams, Dunbar is on every special team unit. That already exceeds what Dunbar is going to get you.
Ok. Give that to Randle. I don't care who does it. I just don't want to lose out on a chance for a special season because of the problem that was staring them in the face. The replacement for Dunbar is going to have to play special teams, Dunbar is on every special team unit.
I don't want my starting RB tiring himself running all over the place on special teams.Ok. Give that to Randle. I don't care who does it. I just don't want to lose out on a chance for a special season because of the problem that was staring them in the face.
Maybe Jackson isn't the answer but I would be willing to kick the tires.
Lol. It's a committee anyways.I don't want my starting RB tiring himself running all over the place on special teams.
Pretty sad a player that useless at his normal position can make himself indispensable like that. The replacement for Dunbar is going to have to play special teams, Dunbar is on every special team unit.
This. We don't need to go after "names" we need to go after guys who still have a full tank of gas, even if their talent level isn't stellar.Fred Jackson is not the answer.
I'm as underwhelmed with our RB situation as anyone, but guys like Fred Jackson or Stephen Jackson won't solve anything, unfortunately.
We are way better off with mediocre RBs that are still in their 20s than we would be with a RB in his 30s dragging his walker around the field.
If Saturday's game was any indication, he isn't playing on STs all that much.Pretty sad a player that useless at his normal position can make himself indispensable like that.
I don't know if the preseason games are really an indication. For example I don't think we have been using McCray on special teams in the preseason either. Yet we all know the whole point of him being here is to play on the special teams coverage units. I think our special teams have been so bad this preseason because the coaches have made a decision to try a bunch of different guys out there to see what they can do or to get their feet wet.If Saturday's game was any indication, he isn't playing on STs all that much.
Could be, but I found it interesting that our 3rd TE made that list and he didn't.I don't know if the preseason games are really an indication. The 3rd TE would be an example of trying out a new guy.Could be, but I found it interesting that our 3rd TE made that list and he didn't.
Can someone run a Madden simulator?Fred Jackson is not the answer.

Escobar has been on STs since we drafted him, has he not?The 3rd TE would be an example of trying out a new guy.
My thing is if we haven't been using McCray, why the eff did we sign him?I don't know if the preseason games are really an indication. He was out there as a kickoff returner. This is more of collection of punt coverage teams, plus FG/EXP teams. If Saturday's game was any indication, he isn't playing on STs all that much.
