Well, smarty pants, I'll have you know it wasn't a setup from the git go. It wasn't until about halfway thru the day that we started texting and plotted the faux fight.

If something happens to Tyron I would expect us to leave Free at RT and consider both Collins and Martin at LT, as well as Weems presumably.

The rub is Collins has spent all but one OTA months ago at guard, and Martin has probably even fewer, likely 0, snaps at tackle. Relying on either to lean on what they learned in college for what would likely be a mid-game change is very risky.

Say Weems or Green comes in mid-game, I guess you could spend the next week moving Martin to LT and Collins to RG.

But Why not just put Collins at swing tackle, Bernadeau at backup guard and be done with it? Gives you the flexibility to activate just your best 7 linemen in a pinch.

It wasn't our best performance, to be sure. But, keep in mind, we are still early in the process, and we are working hard every day to be a better team.
