Who is our starting SLBer when the season starts? Kyle Wilber? You don't think Wilson has a shot at passing him?

Even with Wilson as a backup I think he has far more upside in this league then Cobb who would also be a backup.
Did I miss Hitchens going on IR or something?

Hitchens has been playing the middle I believe. Lee at the weakside. Then it's been Wilber and Wilson I believe on the strong side.
I'd put Wilber in the middle. He played pretty well there after McClain went down. He's not good in man coverage on the outside but he holds up well against the run and he's tall enough to get into passing lanes.

Or better yet, not draft Chaz Green.

Too much angst over Green. He could still pan out. And we could still find a RB.

I'm not utterly hating Green and I know landing Collins is a hindsight thing, but Cobb was one of my pet cats and he already appears to have won the starting job in Nashville.

It is good shit.
Am I the only one who thinks its already outdated? McFadden wont be the starting RB, Joique Bell wont be the starting RB in Detroit (Theo and Abdullah with split carries), and Duke Johnson isnt even on the list for the Browns. Duke should at least be splitting carries with Crowell

I still think we end up with a back from a trade or cuts. I'm not entirely worried... Yet.
Then, its more a matter of who will be available, and who will we target. We will all probably disagree over the merits of whomever it may end up being.

Definitely a work in progress.

In any case, out backs are clearly among the worst if not the worst in the NFC. Tampa could give us a run for our money or Atlanta if Coleman is a bust.

Or the Giant's whose RBs are actually worse.

There is a whole hell of a lot of talent at RB in college that should be coming out over the next 2 years so we should be able to fix this situation in quick order. Hopefully Romo still has something left by then.
