Leary had been better in practices from what I heard. He wasn't last night though.

And no, I don't think it has to do with level of competition. Leary plays best against high competition like Watt.

He's also somewhat inconsistent which he was last night.
Against the first team defense Leary really did everything exactly right with regards to his assignments. I guess he didn't blow people up routinely but I'm not sure what your complaint is.

AC separations don't normally require surgery, but he does need to rest it...which sucks since he's a rookie who needs practice time.

Reap what you sow.

The rest of the team seems to be in decent enough order. Funny that one of the supposed easiest positions to fill in the pros is going to hamstring us all season.
Yeah we can all chuckle about how really good RBs can be had for pennies but it looks a little grim at the moment.

That's funny because he explicitly said he won't miss any time. I guess we will see if the trainers decide differently for him.

I don't agree that he did everything exactly right.

Then it's probably going to be something that bothers him all year if medical science is correct.

Corey White was the most impressive player to me overall, he was around the ball a bunch and had 2 pass deflections I believe. Whitehead looked good on returns except for the fumble, Gregory, Damien Wilson and Gardner looked pretty good as well I thought.

No real opinion on the starters, not enough sample size and half the starters were out anyway.

Did we talk about Devin Street? He came on real strong. Good to see Terrance Williams take over that first drive too.

I actually watched the first quarter again today with the NFL feed. Your opinion is wrong. Of course Leary didn't play many snaps. He came out of the fame when Weeden did.

Well I can remember him whiffing on at least one block. Thought he played more than that.

And somehow, some other respected sports commentator in the area also thinks that he's seen enough to put Collins ahead of Leary....

If you think he whiffed on the run play that was stuffed in the backfield he didn't. Someone blamed him on that yesterday, went back and watched it and he actually had a great block. They just brought an extra man in the right spot and Clutts blocked him very poorly.

Not sure how you know the blocking assignments.

Of course you also said Gus Johnson has better vision that Phillip Tanner.

So the guy that he blocked one on one on that play was the wrong guy? Doesn't make any logical sense but please continue to make shit up. You hate Leary so much that you feel the need to talk shit on the guy even when he did nothing wrong. Of course the guy only played one series but I'm not even sure you realized that.

And Gus Johnson does have better vision then Tanner. It takes all of two seconds to see that. Of course Tanner had absolutely horrific vision, otherwise he may have been a decent backup RB. What we saw from Gus Johnson was some very good short yardage running. Because he has a feel for holes. Thanks for bringing up a point that had nothing to do with what we were talking about.

I will need to watch the 4th Q today, but agreed about White, Gregory and Wilson. If White keeps this up, I put his ass at FS and bench Wilcox.

Whitehead looks good at times, but you can't fumble. That's what made Garrett give up on Amendola.

Ryan Russell had some pop and Collins showed why it is inexplicable he is not getting more playing time or an even shot to compete for a starting role.

We're about to get our first look at Mariota. He's a guy who I think will be a huge bust but all the talk out of Titans camp suggests that he's performing very well.

We'll see how he performs against live bullets tonight.

So it looks like the Titans defense sucks. The Falcons scored with ease.

No wonder Mariota has been looking so good.
