Man playing with children.
Man playing with children.
This is gonna be really fun.
Nobody he hit weighed over 230 pounds, I like the tenacity but let's not go overboard.Man playing with children.
he still pancaked 3 players in one play, they weren't all DB's eitherNobody he hit weighed over 230 pounds, I like the tenacity but let's not go overboard.
He laid every single one of them on the ground... in succession... on one damn play. It's just short of fucking amazing.Nobody he hit weighed over 230 pounds, I like the tenacity but let's not go overboard.
They were all DB size.he still pancaked 3 players in one play, they weren't all DB's either
Ok be amazed if you must.He laid every single one of them on the ground... in succession... on one damn play. It's just short of fucking amazing.
He trucked all 3, and was able to get ahold of much smaller players as a lineman. I will be amazed, Leary lover.Ok be amazed if you must.
That doesn't exactly apply here.I say let the best man win if he beats out Leary he earned it.
I remember when most people were always bitching about players being given spots because of draft position.
I just don't see the advantage in working through a rookie's growing pains when this season has so much on the line.
Being able to hit smaller more agile players downfield isn't a desirable trait?Nobody he hit weighed over 230 pounds, I like the tenacity but let's not go overboard.
Like I said, children. Won't find many of those in the NFL.Nobody he hit weighed over 230 pounds, I like the tenacity but let's not go overboard.
Collins will eventually work himself in there as a starter. Leary might be a trooper, but his knees may betray him.
It is kind of funny to me.
Had we drafted Collns where he "should" have gone, people would be like OMG.
Now, well, hurrrr, he might have to beat out Leary.
The sad ass sick thing is that the organization seems to think that way.
Leary is short timing it. With his knees and his contract.
Move on.
Collins seems like a humble guy, so not sure why you'd fault the organization for handling it this way.Collins will eventually work himself in there as a starter. Leary might be a trooper, but his knees may betray him.

What will you say when he does it at the higher level, against grown assed men?Like I said, children. Won't find many of those in the NFL.
I think this is why we are going to slow play with Collins, he is playing a new spot whether he is at LG or RT, and the long-term plan is obviously for him to start, but we just don't know which spot it will be at. I assume we don't want to pigeonhole him as a LG in case he is our long-term Free replacement with a Smith-Leary-Frederick-Martin-Collins line. But they have the luxury of watching him in TC and seeing for themselves where he fits best, RT or LG.
Of course he's not gonna be the swing tackle for years, but if he's a better RT than LG you have to play him there.
