Well, either you have the defensive mix to win a game or you don't have the talent. I can't hate too much in any case but one big play could have made a difference. I think some people go after a gimped QB but Dom Capers was on the other sideline and he didn't have much for Seattle, so maybe it doesn't matter much who is coaching wither side of the ball.
I feel like we ran a "bend-don't-break" style defense, which held the Packers offense back for a little over half the game. Obviously we were very very close to winning that game without a heavy blitzing game plan as we had won 13 already. We had multiple big defensive plays, including 2 sacks. But none were as big as Peppers' strip.
The fact of the matter is that Rodgers came out of the locker room after half time with some of that good shit to dull the pain, and started playing like Aaron fucking Rodgers. This guy could beat the shit out of way better defenses than ours. We failed because we didn't take advantage of the opportunities we had on offense while the Pack were spinning their wheels for 2/3rds of the game. The Murray play was by and large the most significant wasted opportunity.
