GOT was brutal this season. Not necessarily in a bad way, just so many big moments that didn't end well.

After months of whispered rumors and appropriately evasive statements from Fox, the truth, courtesy of Deadline, is here. The X-Files is officially set to return to the network as a six-episode event series, with series creator/executive producer Chris Carter and stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny all on board to reprise their roles from the original series.

Carter, for his part, plans to pick up right where he left off: “I think of [the time since The X-Files ended] as a 13-year commercial break,” said Carter. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.” Production on the series, about which little else is known, is set to begin this summer. Further details, including the potential involvement of other famous X-Files alumni like Vince Gilligan and pretty much every actor who was working in the ’90s, are forthcoming, and will presumably be delivered by a mysterious man with a black hat and nicotine-stained fingers.

That was almost 3 months ago. They are already filming

To be fair, everything on Syfy pretty much looks that way.
The Childhood's End trailer looks promising. Other than that.... I tried to watch the Dark Matter pilot last night and fell asleep about half way through. Not a good sign. I feel like I've seen the concept a hundred times

I am about to give up on Hannibal. It's more about effected photography than storyline and gets worse every episode.

Someone finally beat out Booze's review of Daredevil from a few pages back.

Props to those who recommended Black Mirror. I am through two episodes and it definitely gives me an uneasy feeling in my gut when I watch it, which is the intended effect.

Am I the only one who watched True Detective?
I haven't yet, but it's recorded and I will get to it hopefully tonight.

Anybody watched Fortitude?

It's a very strange and interesting British show from SkyTV,

It's a cross between Broadchurch and Twin Peaks, you think it's about one thing and it's totally something else.

Lots of great actors and some good writing with a shaky plot but it all ties up nicely.

I watched it and look forward to where it goes. I'm just under the assumption it will be your typical drama though, without the creepyness factor of last season. Great cast though.

Yeah they had some good haunting type music in the episode but overall there just isn't that level of creepiness that we had from the very start of the first season. There also just don't seem to be as compelling of a lead character as we had with Mcconaughey. Still I thought Colin Farrell was great. Rachel McAdams character is pretty hot. Vince Vaughn was ok but his character doesn't have a lot to him yet at this point.

True Detective

From what I have heard there is going to be some kind of devil worshipping killers coming up as the season progresses.
