If Danny McCray sees one minute of playing time at S they deserve what they get.
We added jack and shit in the draft and UDFA, so if the team keeps four safeties, we are a Wilcox ankle sprain and a Church concussion from having Heath or this guy starting.

Think about that shitfest for a second.

Byron Jones should play safety, jeezus. This isn't rocket science.

It is not that simple since we have nothing beyond Scandrick and Carr if/until Claiborne can play. I don't want Patmon in a significant role. I also don't like the idea of playing Jones at safety. Let him learn CB, don't eff him up trying to learn multiple responsibilities.

I'd rather he be a FS only and not even bother with CB. All the positive plays he made in his highlights are when the play happens in front of him. Might as well make that a regular occurrence

I can't say I care where he goes. I just don't want them fricking around and moving him from one position to another. Let him develop at one spot. He's a rookie, let him learn.

Problem is at CB, he will likely need to be a body there in camp thanks to Claiborne.

He could actually play S when he was not playing STs. When McCray played S he had the ball skills of a retarded kid chasing a butterfly.
This made me lol.

The sad thing is we need him at both. Our depth in the secondary is seriously lacking.

I think he is needed more at CB. The decision to let Moore go took care of the nickel CB issue.

Claiborne is a non-factor. If we had to play a game in the summer, Tyler Patmon is your nickel guy.

I don't think Claiborne does anything, not just because he is one of the biggest busts in team history, but more because he is that, plus a significant injury.

If you don't care where he goes, and just want him to stay at one position, than it should definitely be FS. It's the more impactful position for him, for sure, if he's that center fielder type.

We are fine with Carr, Scandrick, Patmon and White at CB, if Claiborne gives us nothing. That's just as good as what we had last year. And this year our pass rush is infinitely superior.

I'd rather see how the defense looks with a rangy FS by far, than an upgraded nickle corner.

Why is Corey White a worse player than Sterling Moore?

I'm not saying he's anything great, but neither was Moore.
Moore was a scrappy player that made plays. White just looks like he lacks that quality. This guy was whining and making excuses after he was benched in New Orleans....like he was relevant.

Have to admit that Booze if right here. Moore seemed to have a knack for being around/making plays.

Kind of like Hitchens..... :tippytoe
