Also, I am not a McHale fan and never have been.

I would bring back Van Gundy in a heartbeat who I think is an excellent coach. Not only would he fix the Rockets' defense, but he loves to play from the inside out which he could to even greater effect than he did before due to Dwight Howard being a more dominating cneter than Yao was.

Get rid of McHale and bring back JVG.
Howard is not the low posy player of Yau and noy the passer but yeah I would take back JVG.

Yeah acting like Lebron is so terrible.:lol

Harden is doing what he needs to do he can't win shit by taking over he needs a secondary ball handler and a consistent 3-point shooter.
Given the supporting cast that Harden has in Houston, I think Ace has a point.

What......do you want him to facilitate, defer, and create shots for Jason Terry and Corey Brewer (the Lebron method)? Or would you rather he be more aggressive on the offensive end and try to take matters into his own hands (the Kobe method)?

Both methods are fine but the Lebron method really only works when you have another stud #2 guy who can carry his own weight in tough playoff series. Lebron has that in Irving and he had it in Wade. Harden does not have that in Houston.

Personally, I'm with Ace. I think he needs to be more aggressive and try to take over. He has the ability.

Acting like timid Lebron, the one who cost Miami The Finals in 2011, is most definitely a bad thing.

And even if he tried to imitate the great and more seasoned Lebron, he isn't THAT good to where he should be trying to do that over being an aggressive scorer.....which is what he does best.

The Rockets have no chance at making a deep playoff run with Harden choosing to be more of the former than the latter.

Damn LeBron just saved Cleveland's ass against Chicago.
A foul should have been called on Noah on the play before. Shouldn't have come down to that last second buzzer beater.

Although, I do think the Cavs shot themselves in the foot the last 30 seconds of the game and put themselves in that tough situation. They absolutely butchered that possession where they kept calling timeouts.

Unbelievable. Why would you not want Lebron taking the last shot?

If the Cavs don't win it all I can see David Blatt being one and done in Cleveland.

With as bad as this series between the Clips/Rockets has been with this hack-a-whoever crap, there's about a 100% chance the NBA makes some alteration to this rule in the offseason.

My guess is they'll limit the number of times you can do it per quarter.

As an aside, the Rockets look so helpless out there.

This was a 6 point game at halftime now with about 4 minutes to play in the 3rd the Clippers are threatening to go up by 30.

I honestly thought the Rockets were one of the 4 or 5 best teams in the NBA and a contender.

I didn't think they'd make it to the Finals, but I thought they were at least in contention.

This series is showing that the Rockets are a lot further away from being that type of team that some, including myself, believed. They've got a lot of work to do in the offseason and they need to look at how they want to build their roster and if they have the right coach in place.

Jiggy this is what Ace and I were talking about with Harden.

We're almost in the 4th quarter and he only has 10 FG attempts. Ariza and Jones have attempted more shots.

That can't happen in games of this magnitude. Harden should be averaging 25 shot attempts this series.

Maybe the Rockets still lose but I'd rather go down riding the back of my best player than riding the backs of career journeymen/role players.

I forgot which analyst mentioned this but I thought this was a good point. He said it's as if the Rockets are still coasting along as if they're still playing the old, broken down Dallas Mavericks.

Meanwhile the Clippers had to play and execute at an extremely high level just to get past the Spurs.

Essentially the intensity levels that both teams played with in the first round has carried over into round 2.

That's a good thing for the Clippers. Not so good for the Rockets.

The Bulls had their chance to basically end the series and blew it. Up 7 going into the 4th and they proceed to score 5 points in the first 8 or so minutes of the quarter. They have nobody to blame but themselves for this failure, and when they lose this series I will have absolutely no problem getting rid of Thibodeau, Noah, Gibson and whoever else not named Rose or Butler.

Cuban had the Rockets pegged. The Mavericks just weren't good enough to take advantage

Pretty much.

They need another go-to player to compliment Harden. Howard is too inconsistent to be that player.

I did not think we could beat the Clippers but these blowouts have been dissapointing and shows how much work needs to be done.

But this is the 2nd season of Howard and Harden and they have missed most of that time together because of injuries so they have never really been in sync IMO

This will be n important offseason they simply have to find a couple of other guys who can create there own shot and some veteran leadership and I like our chances moving forward.

I thought it was funny how after being extremely cold and missing tons of shots in a row Derrick Rose started flexing his right hand/wrist/arm as if they were bothering. :lol

Ain't nuthin' wrong with your arm, negro!

I admit he looked damn good in the 1st quarter than. Looked like 2010 Derrick Rose.....then he just disappeared.

If the Sixers pick 3rd I hope they take Winslow...if they end up with the 1st pick I hope they trade down with one of the teams that picks 2nd or 3rd for additional picks and then take Winslow.

I love him, but I loved him more when I thought he was 6'6-6'7 or so. It's going to be hard to be more than a role player in this league with his skill set at 6'4.
